For all you’ve done your in it pretty cheap, my base was 10k but that included 87k on the odometer with a 4.0 in it along with IRO 4” long arm kit, 5 Mickey T’s wrapped with 33” D-Cepeks, Trail Forged front winch bumper and their radiator support. I get a lot 👍🏼 because she’s clean AF inside and out, I’ve added Fox 2.0’s w/ adjusters, built a awesome drawer system in the cargo area for trail storage along with a bed platform for the extended trial runs and a cheap roof rack for now to hold the spare tire until I have time to fab one……….so I’m in it for 13k thus far! Just Empty Every Pocket
Hell yeah! Your rig sounds sick 💪🏼 I’m probably gonna look into those Fox shocks you have for this. I’ve got Fox 16” remote coilovers for the Durango, big fan of Fox 🦊 products. Thanks for watching brother!
@@PSFGarage forgot to mention I do have the reservoirs, I did get lucky getting the fox in a reasonable amount of time. When I called every shock builder out there I was told 10months lead time, through my connections I was able to get them in 3 weeks…….it’s nice to know people lol …..thanks for the compliment!
Thank you so much for making this video. I literally have the same base jeep. I hope you don't mind but I'm going to follow your list and build out mine the same way. Not a bad way to spend 15k.
Love watching your videos. My daily drive is a 2000 durango r/t on 35s. I've got a ton of work done. Hoping to get it on 37s this summer. Really wanna do 1 ton axle swap and 40s but that'll be in time. Keep up the good videos.
Wow dude, that thing is a beast, badass too! How does it do with those huge tires and all the other mods with the 4.0? I managed to find myself a unicorn. 2004 WJ Loredo, 4.7 with only 32k miles on it. It was some dude's 2nd car and only came out in the snow. More than half the miles are open country roads. The 4.0 was my preference also, but this ran and sounded really good. And the interior, 90% mint! I just put a 2" lift with BFG All Terrain TA 245/65/17 on Rock Trix rims with a +12 offset. It looks amazing. The tire and rim combo fill out the wheel wells nicely. It's not nearly the beast yours is, but I do have an 03 Rubicon I'm working on. The Cherokee is my daily driver. Nice ride, great video. If those hood mounts for the lights ever fail M11 Offroad makes a decent set for $45, mine should be coming soon. Any suggestions on light pods?
Thanks so much man! Appreciate the compliments and you watching! It does great now that it’s regeared. Sounds like you have an awesome rig too! You on IG?
@@PSFGarage awesome! I was debating to weld them on or not. I think I will hold off... Thanks for the response and awesome content. Looking forward to the continued build on the WJ.
You do know the v8 did come with a transfer case that does 2wd but its pretty hard to find. It's called 242hd transfer case. I bought my wj for only $500 but that was back in 2000 before prices went crazy!!
I did know that! But yeah, super hard to find. I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever found one and haven’t seen one for sale. Would be cool to find though. Sounds like you got an awesome deal on yours. Thanks for watching!! 🤙🏼
I have a 2000 wj 4.7 that has the 242hd t case. Last year I swapped in the 4.7HO motor w 545re tranny. I've yet to see anyone else do it and almost 100% factory didn't make all of that an option. I have 1 ton axles to swap in asap
Awesome vid man!. You deserve a subscribe and a thumbs up. I also have the same light pod mounts. They are great with lots of adjustment options, cheap in cost and overall durable. I have not ran them through a car wash yet ( My apartments do not allow car washing ) I am wondering if they will come off.
Great breakdown! Super informative! Are you running the shock that came with the RC long arm kit? I have the same kit and plan on going from 4" to 6.5" but I'm unsure if I needed longer shocks...
Thanks so much and great question! I’m running the shocks that came with the 4” kit. They seem to work just fine with the 6” springs but they may be just slightly too short. Probably going to upgrade soon though and see if there’s much of a change.
@@PSFGarage Sweet! I was looking at the bilstiens and they cost more than the springs! That was the only thing keeping me from moving forward with the 6inch. Thanks for the reply! I really appreciate the info! I couldn't find anything in the forums!
I feel ya, we all got that budget to deal with. It took me time to collect parts but once I had everything, I made it happen. Thanks for watching and good luck with the swap!
There’s a video all about it on the channel! It’s called Tank Tuck prep and all the WJ build videos are in a playlist together so you can see the full process!
I’ve had Chrysler/ Dodge 4.7’s, 5.2’s and 5.9’s. They’re not bad but they’re not great. I’ve had lots of issues with them. Got rid of the 5.9 in my Durango build because it had cracked heads, amongst other issues, and decided to go LS. The 4.0 is bulletproof and extremely reliable. It was also far easier to find the NP241 Select Trac transfer case behind the 4.0 and the 4.7 usually comes with the QuadraTrac full time 4wd case. It was a better combo overall and more reliable in my opinion.

Awesome, thanks for checking it out and for your feedback! 💪🏼
Just started on a wj.. thanks for this video.. the endless snowball effect has started
Nice! Haha 😂 I love that effect. Still living it! Good luck man and hit me up if you have questions!
You are the best broo❤
Thanks brother 🤙🏼 I appreciate you!
great vid. had to run it at 2x speed (I was in a hurry). I Subbed (based on this video) look forward to

Thank so much for watching! Absolutely, build it out the same way and keep me posted! I’d be pumped to see your build too 🤘🏼
I have the older zj. It's a 97. I absolutely love it with the v8. The only thing I've done to it was a budget lift and rims and tires.
Nice! Hard to beat a ZJ, those things rule too. That V8 makes those rip too!
Yes that v8 rips. I even have enough room in the back for my English mastiff.

Welding up the Artec truss on the 60 right now. I remember you mentioned something about the sway bar brackets getting in the way?
Yeah, it was the way they are oriented on the WJ. I don’t have the sway bar on, just ditched it.

@@PSFGarage I was sure that the 4,7 are totally reliable, without any issues . So your advice is to go for the 4 lt Laredo.
Do some cross overs with muddybeard and nate from dirt lifestyle!

So the factory brake lines worker with the cailpers?
