2022 Triumph Speed Twin tail tidy and turn signals
Tail tidy and turn signals from Brogue Motorcycles.
The turn signals come pre-wired with OEM connectors, no splicing necessary.
You need resistors as well when installing all 4 turn signals.
The wiring on the Brogue turn signals (2 wires per signal) will not be the same color as OEM, you just need to play around until it all works! Make sure you keep the wiring for left and right separate.
Brogue has a video on RUclips that explains the overall install, you’ll want to check that out.

    Does the subwoofer require all of the wiring and extra equipment for it to work?

    • @TheSunderlands1
      @TheSunderlands1 Месяц назад

      The minimum you need: You will need a wire to run power to it to the car’s battery. And you will need to ground it with another wire. And finally, you need to provide a signal to it, so you either find the car’s speaker wires and splice into those (I’ve read that the front door speaker wires are the way to go), or if you already have the stock sub then you can simply cut off the connector, and use a small amount of wire to extend the wires to the sub’s connector. If you ever want to revert to stock, you just re-attach the stock connector.

      That’s the Sargent seat. Definitely more supportive. The seat shims did help somewhat in my butt being more upright and thus distribute the pinch points better, but when you’re talking a multiple day trip with at least 6 hours everyday, it’s not quite enough. @TheSunderlands1 6 месяцев назад

      I got the Leo Vince race exhaust, simply because it doesn’t stick up as much as the Akra. I made a video on that as well, it’s a matter of preference on looks! The tune I got is from Vcyclenut, you can check out that vid as well (it’s the same one as the exhaust). On my prior FZ-07 (now called MT-07) I did get the 2WDW tune that you are considering and the Akra exhaust, so you’re making a good choice in my mind! Your Akra might be a little louder than the Leo Vince and more “throatier” at speed, I think it’s a good choice for the T9, that bike doesn’t need to sound like a sewing machine with that OEM exhaust!

    Hi! On a scale from 1 to 10 how would you describe the volume(db) difference with LV One (with muffler) compared to original. I want to buy this exhaust but in my country there is no exact definiton of street legal or race. The police can just charge you if they think it's loud. I'm personally not very much of a fan of the original sound because i think it's too quiet, even I sometimes cannot hear the bike hit the rev limiter due to wind noise. So i just want it to be a little bit louder but not too much like it can be heared miles away. I don't intend to draw the attention of the police. I describe it like when i pull the clutch, it should be as quiet as possible but it should produce more noise than the original at higher rev range. So do you think this exhaust (with muffler) like the state it comes out from the package, suits my intentions ? Or will it be too loud or too quiet ? Thanks in advance.

    • @TheSunderlands1
      @TheSunderlands1 6 месяцев назад

      It’s not too much louder than stock, just more low end bass. The race version takes away the catalytic converter, but there is still a sound deadener in the exhaust. I believe my Triumph Speed Twin is louder at idle with its stock exhaust. As a comparison, the Akrapovic I had on my MT-07 was louder at idle, so the Leo Vince is a good compromise.

      Yes, it is indeed a new Sargent seat. Haven’t made a review yet since I haven’t gone on a long ride, but it’s definitely different support than the stock seat, it feels like it better spreads out the “pinch” points. But I’ve only been on it maybe 35 continuous minutes so far, which isn’t enough. I really need a full day ride, I’ll be able to tell immediately. But so far it’s an improvement of the general riding position, it just feels better, and doesn’t really affect the height of the seat.

      Not sure about that. You would need to search a good discussion forum to see if clips, etc, are the same.

    Can this be installed if you don’t have a factory sub?

      You can follow the same steps but would need to splice into the speaker wires to provide the signal. I don’t think the models without the sub have the sub wiring installed but could be wrong. VW Vortex forums may have more info.
