Also there is 2 methods some say take the gaskets out.. And just use what leovince provides no gaskets used.. I personally used gaskets that were in their all ready.. Not tested for leaks yet.. But it does seem odd others out there saying know gaskets to be used.. Nothing in lv manual about this.. What is your thought's on this plus advice on previous message would help.. Thanks
Hi I watched couple of in in stalls. On mt09 about the end can exit Mesh bit.. It looks like it almost touching the swing arm. When the suspension is under load while riding.. Does the end Mesh tip touch swing arm it looks very close to me! Thank for any advice..
Installed mine today.. Question is did all your flanges bend at each bolt mount to header.. mine did.. I Stopped torque setting before 20nm. in yamaha manual it says 20nm.. I didn't want to go any further.. Hope it's enough to what felt right..I've not tested for leaks yet..how did you'res feel.. Thanks.
Good video. Ive been thinking of getting the lv but i ride 2 up alot and haven't seen anyone talk about how it is will a passenger. Does it seem like the exhaust exits on the passengers foot peg? Dont want the wife to get cooked in traffic.
It looks like you have about 6 inches of room from the end of the exhaust to where the foot might be. So that should be OK since the exhaust gas should shoot out before hitting the foot, and the tip itself may not radiate tons of heat?
Hi! On a scale from 1 to 10 how would you describe the volume(db) difference with LV One (with muffler) compared to original. I want to buy this exhaust but in my country there is no exact definiton of street legal or race. The police can just charge you if they think it's loud. I'm personally not very much of a fan of the original sound because i think it's too quiet, even I sometimes cannot hear the bike hit the rev limiter due to wind noise. So i just want it to be a little bit louder but not too much like it can be heared miles away. I don't intend to draw the attention of the police. I describe it like when i pull the clutch, it should be as quiet as possible but it should produce more noise than the original at higher rev range. So do you think this exhaust (with muffler) like the state it comes out from the package, suits my intentions ? Or will it be too loud or too quiet ? Thanks in advance.
It’s not too much louder than stock, just more low end bass. The race version takes away the catalytic converter, but there is still a sound deadener in the exhaust. I believe my Triumph Speed Twin is louder at idle with its stock exhaust. As a comparison, the Akrapovic I had on my MT-07 was louder at idle, so the Leo Vince is a good compromise.
@@TheSunderlands1 Thank you, i ordered a LV exhaust with cat and db killer for my Tracer900. I am thinking that it will give me the exact sound difference i want, especially on low rev range, even if it's not loud enough i could always remove the db killer and go on but i think it should suffice
Great video thank you for making this. It’ll be very helpful when I install a new exhaust.
Is the height clearance slightly higher compared to the stock exhaust?

Indeed, it comes very close. I have not had a chance to ride it a long time to see if it will touch the swingarm once heated up.

Hello, is the DB killer removable?
Yes it is. See link for a video I found.

Is the Leovince with the CAT ?
The one I have is without the cat. They do make a EU homologation version that does have a cat, I believe.
@@TheSunderlands1 Thanks! And yes they do. I am waiting to get my EURO5 with the cat.
