Intellijel Atlantix | Winterdagen
I've had the Intellijel Atlantix for about three months and it's quickly become my go to mono all sorts of different applications. I love its sound, it has so much character and sounds full of life. With it's two oscillators that can both receive their own pitch, lately I've been experimenting with writing full compositions on just Atlantix, here's one from this week. The amazing Intellijel Sealegs is on reverb and delay duties, and Pladask Elektrisk Dradd for some extra textures.

Thank you :)! In this case I just wrote the melodies in Ableton, sending out the sequences throught ALM Mmmidi.
@@Winterdagen Thanks for the reply! With all the variations in the sequences, I was indeed leaning more towards a DAW sequencer where I find it easier to record and edit sequences like this than hardware sequencers 😅
@@2MinuteWarning Indeed :)! To me, hardware sequencers are best for coming up with stuff I wouldn't come up with while sitting at a piano/synth. I also played part of this sequence live, the main sequence coming from the DAW and the sequence for the second oscillator improvised over the top of it.

These are very interesting machines that are underrated, I have had mine for years and have a love hate relationship with it but everytime I get back together with it I learn something new about it that totally changes how I use it.
I can imagine that indeed! I haven't even touched on parameter locks or the mod sequencer yet, so there's yet a world to explore for me :)

That would be super cool if you could do a tutorial on how you did that song on the Polybrute. I’ve tried to do something similar with the matrix arpegiator but obviously there must be something that I don’t understand because I can’t do anything that remotely sounds like that.

Even after presenting the Polybrute 12 ... the Polybrute 6 is a wonderful sounding synthesizer. Ok, 12 voices, an amazing polyphonic aftertouch keyboard, all these are fantastic features but at a much higher prize range. I hope Arturia will continue the Polybrute 6 👍
Especially the extremely expressive new keyboard on the 12 is very tempting indeed! Nonetheless the original Polybrute is still amazing as ever to me as well :)
