people are seeing so much content on these Hobonichi books that they are getting too excited. They are confusing journals with planners. It's sounds like you need a blank notebook where you can create the spread/layout that you need. You can also try an Archer and Olive journal and make it look beautiful in your own way ❤

I absolutely LOVED your goal-setting video! I’ve been using your method for a month now, and it’s amazing! The way you set your own quarters by season? Genius-it makes so much more sense to me. I've had the same experience with my ring planners; ever since I switched, functional planning just clicks so much more than a bound book. It truly feels like the perfect system to get things done! Also, I’m obsessed with the red and pink combo-such a stunning choice! 🫰✨

You should be proud of your planner! We put so much of our time and heart towards these books and it seriously helps us be the better versions of ourselves. Been in rings since 2019, then decided to use bound book last year… then I went back to rings again this year. Rings are just different. you can never do the same amount of customization in any other analogue planner. Also, sending hugs during these tumultuous times. I live in the US also and it’s seriously not the best time to be in it. 🥲

I'm inspired! I have a Plotter, but need some inspiration on how to use it. I'd like to put my vote in for a video on how you how about customizing your rings. The reason I don't really use my Plotter is because I don't really vibe with many of the inserts that I see out there and would love to create my own. Thank you for bringing a safe space to the planner community!

loving your website! well done on the name and branding! I wish I were a rings girlie for planning, but it just doesn't work for me outside of commonplacing. Still... might have to get a few inserts and use them as bookmarks/tip ins in my bound book 👀

Planner hoping would be more comparable to me to giving up on a book or a game mid way and moving on to the next one 😅 Changing genres would be changing to a new planner system after you finished the year. I don’t have a problem with other people planner hoping and I think it would be weird to have an issue with that. I haven’t done it myself though, I like to stick with the planner I started until the end of the year, I get attached to it, it’s like a friend 😂

Agreed - the whole country feels like a dumpster fire - am taking a break from facebook, instagram, etc for better mental health.

I can never use rings for memory keeping, but I only use mine for to do lists and finance tracking because I am enjoying my TNs for memory keeping and that's enough for me.

Loved this peak into your notebook and how the logic of it flows Would love insight into making your inserts on Canva because I do think I would enjoy the versatility that rings can bring but I do think it’s an intimidating step to take

i finally figured my brain but it took a while, i only use any notebook or planner if it has grid paper 🤣 so many years figuring it out just for it to be that easy😪
