@davidanderson6222 yes it is but that's where having a controller with some crazy good weakening comes in to play. Not only does it have to have the capability of it. This controller actually can be unlocked to double the fieldweakening that is already crazy. You know That was the reason why when I got this RZ I installed 2 different controllers before this ASI to show the difference. For instance I was using a Sabvaton 72150 that was unlocked to accept more dc line amps and deliver more phase but it could barely reach 65mph and had to stay stay full throttle 13-14kw to do it

@andyfumo8931 its 23 pole pairs in this Qs205. Most all direct drives made now have 23pairs, allot of older motors may have had less pairs but based on cost they found 23 to be a good baseline. Mid drives I believe have less pairs but I haven't worked much with those. In direct drive hubs the lower number of pole pairs the higher the rpm. Altering the pole pairs and the turn ratios will allow you optimize efficiency based on different wheel diameters. Custom motors have unique number of pole pairs and turn ratios. Now a specific turn ratio like a 3.5T or 5T motor having those exact amount of turns can also be tweaked by the number a of those copper strands making up the wire thats wrapped around those coils. Theres a chart for turn ratios and a formula to calculate it just like everything else in electronics, its all math and formulas. Motor torque is also increased by the physical diameter of the motor itself. The larger the motor overall circomference the more leverage it has, the more torque but the Rpm will be affected as well and again thats where optimization comes into play. Someone with that knowledge, expertise and the ability to manifest it would certainly have advantages. That alone is enough to keep me in the lab learning as much as i can about it.

@@EbikeBatteryKing you misunderstood I didn’t say I was only running 3kw lol I said what motor it was .this is the 3kw I’m running a BAC8000 on it in this video the max is set to 20kw in gear 3 but I was in gear2 and with this ASI it only takes about 4-5kw to maintain a constant 65mph after I’m already accelerated up to speed you can see the power on the right clearly I couldn’t get on the highway with only 3kw of power total. I have 12kw now but I haven’t installed it yet I’m doing it now this video is from about 4 months ago. Nowhow much power does it take you to hold 65 mph after you already accelerated up to speed.I ran that motor up to 20kw. The new motor I’m installing is a 12kw I’ll be running about 70kw on that at 108v that’s the plan. This video was not about the max but how lil it takes to maintain highway for long dx

He's really the only person I'd go to, or Amorge for a budget battery, but you get what you pay for, & can't get really any better than Chris' batteries

@ReVolt_e-Vlogs I was almost about to get an AMORGE battery because affirm had me covered but my credit dropped for missed payment and they took away the credit. Then I find out the news about my company and NOW I can afford a battery that will last a decade, no sandwich, pure copper sheet.

@@1bottlefed that it does the less drag your right and for some reason probably that small motor this thing has very low rolling resistance I can push this thing faster than my bomber it rolls so easy but the field weakening in the ASI is exceptional I’ve tested other controllers set them to same power levels this thing get higher top speeds and uses less to maintain them when the road is level under ideal conditions I can do 65mph with about 3800watts. Takes about 13kw on the Sabvaton with flux still barely do 65

My stock motor is advertised at 4kw but qs rep said it was 3kw. Stock fardriver is an OEM 150/405. Batt pack is 72v40ah 80amp haoyangsz. I have 12miles freeway riding at 55-60mph running 80amps line and 280phase but it doesn't use 280, according to the app, it's using 80line and 60-70 A-phase and C-phase amps at 5-6kw. A mosfet bridge fried the other day 😅😢

​@andyfumo8931 that highway riding probably contributed that's working the hell outta that Lil controller with not much weakening but pretty amazing feat with the stock controller. I don't think I would attempt that with those specs really not much being able to get outta the way at this level but it's doable cuz I at least can get to 80 if necessary 55 get your arse run over on some highways lol but bold riding for sure

​@@1bottlefedthanks man but again that's why I love that controller man cruising highway speeds at 4-5kw makes it easy on the everything. It's expensive compared to most controllers but that makes it worthy of the cost. You can get a deal on one now

@IGNITETHEMIC yeah now my RZ has BAC8000 like The Beast. When I first got it some of these clips are like the first week or two I didn't have my custom pack so I was demonstrating what you could do with 150 amps and mid range controller but as soon as I put a pack capable of amps I'm running BAC8000

What's your estimated specs for using a 108v pack?

it does he does well over 100mph with ease not sure what is top is but under all the right conditions 110-115maybe maxed out full battery field weakening yeah hes not pushing that hard tho but hes doing good for sure

In a short answer it gives the controller info it needs to operate correctly when they are bad you won't have and throttle response your bike will not move or it can move just very rough

lol well I know from fixing other peoples motors Ive yet to burn up anything not a single one, Im way to anal about paying attention to whats going on to be burning expensive hub motors up. However I do know what nurnt electronics smells like. Me burning a motor would be like a mechanic blowing an engine with no oil. Thats normaly the ladies that just ride ignoring everything lolol

Maybe I should have stated this is a repair for someone else these are 205s I dont have anything at the moment with a 205 Frank had a 205 but I didnt have no where near enough power to burn it up. FYI Knowing what I know now Id never ever run one 273 run much cooler just because of the air space and metal mass. 34kw on the Beast dont need statoraid or none of that. Proper tune and low impedance also helps with that and Low turn motor have heavier guage windings I think I did a video on that too.

Yeah thats what I ended up doin because the brake light turn signals dont really have enuff seperation to me so drivers may not reall see. definitely important, Did you get a rear view cam Man I swear thats life saving making split decisions at high speeds
