    I do prefer JK bms with true active balancer and same rating in discharge and charge. That said, i use daly for tiny systems, like a 3-400wH powerbank for small fans, lights and gadgets where cheap is key.

    Thank you for your great videos. I have a question. if I take my car battery (lead battery) as input 12.8v and my 48v ebike battery as output (load). what happens if I set the uvp to 12.3v. 12.3v meets 54v Can electricity also flow back?

    So i could use a non modified booster to charge a 63.5 full voltage battery with a 40v tool battery at 3.5A?

    • @theinnovati0nlab782
      @theinnovati0nlab782 2 дня назад

      Yes. However, when using a battery to recharge another battery, it is always better to ensure that the battery you are using as your power source has a larger storage capacity than the one you are recharging.☺️ I am sure you already know this - just a reminder. For example: Don't use a 12V, 20Ah battery to recharge a 24V 50Ah..etc. I hope this helps. The Innovati0n Lab 💥 www.theinnovati0nlab.com

    Once again, a big greeting and thanks for every video. Another question related to the elec booster and the electric bike(motor) itself: Would it hurt anything for a 36v 250w elec motor if I put a 12v+ booster an 48v 350w controller on it? again: y want to encrease from 36v to 48v 250w to 350w..my motor is 36v 250w..thanks in advance

    • @theinnovati0nlab782
      @theinnovati0nlab782 5 дней назад

      Thanks for the amazing feedback!👍👍👍 Given that your motor has a 36V maximum rating, you will likely damage it with a 48V controller. The 48V controller by itself won't be the problem. However, since you have 12 to 48 booster, you will overpower the motor itself and fry windings. I would not recommend this, but it's totally up to you.☺️ I hope this helps. • @theinnovati0nlab782
      @theinnovati0nlab782 4 дня назад

      Please make sure that your output current adjustment is not all the way down to the zero. 💥💥💥 Try doing the following steps; 1. Disconnect all load from the output and connect your DMM to the output. 2. With the converter input on your to your left and output towards your right, dial the current adjustment pot clockwise until you hear some audible clicks....just note that at this potentiometer set point, you will be at the maximum output current and you need to dial it down before connecting your battery for charging. Now, with the current adjustment potentiometer set to the max point, turn the output voltage potentiometer counterclockwise to increase the output voltage. If your converter is not faulty, this should work. If you turn the current adjustment potentiometer too low, your converter will lose output voltage boost function. So, your output will equal your input. CAUTION: ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Keep a close eye on the output via your DMM as you are turning the current adjustment trim potentiometer clockwise because when you get to a point of stability, you may see your output voltage spontaneously jump - depending on the output trim potentiometer setting. Again, this is why you have to disconnect all loads from the converter when you are doing this. I hope this helps. Great video, when you switched off ac input voltage, does it return charger from the dc battery back to the booster?

    • @theinnovati0nlab782
      @theinnovati0nlab782 9 дней назад

      Great question. There is a rectifier diode that blocks the current from flowing back to the converter switching circuit. However if you leave the battery connected, there will be some small reverse current from the battery that goes to charge the output capacitors of the converter - since they are after the blocking rectifier diode at the output stage of the converter. Thus, you will see about a -0.08A flowing back to charge the converter output caps. So, to be safe, disconnect your battery from the charger when you are done charging it - especially if you are going to disconnect the input power to the charger. This way, your battery won't get discharged over time. I hope this helps. The Innovati0n Lab 💥 www.theinnovati0nlab.com

      This is wonderful feedback! Very well received.👍👍 What I have done in some power supply modules I built a while ago was to flip the converter such that the heat sink faces up to allow an upward thermal dissipation via convection. However, the most heat sensitive or heat dissipating components are thermally coupled to the heatsink - the board only sees a few degrees rise in temperature, even at high loads. Also, adding an external fan makes a world of difference as both the heatsink, PCB traces, and board mounted components are simultaneously air-cooled. See the project video below....an older video, though.☺️ ruclips.net/video/OYzvwmOy3gw/видео.htmlsi=NeKx9hEdP5K-HcbV Thanks again. Respectfully, The Innovati0n Lab 💥 www.theinnovati0nlab.com

      Great question. The quick answer is no. The MPPT charge controller has a dedicated function of being super efficient in running a maximum power point tracking algorithm and this is why it is about 5 times more expensive for a third of the power - in comparison to the boost converter. However, I have made some progress in tuning this converter to work a little better from when we initially experimented on this concept a while ago. chinese specs are always to be taken with a grian of salt. also, it can work, one thing that HAS to be done is two have them phased 180 appart. aka, when boost or buck drive 1 will be low, 2 will be high, when 1 is high 2 is low. Its more complicated to execute when you got two separate modules rather than have a serie of mosfet with gate drivers and all. but overall, experimenting is always key to learn ^^

    Excellent and well-executed project. When connecting PV modules in parallel I recommend using diodes. Greetings from Poland.

      Thank you so much! 👍👍👍 This a model constructive feedback, and I greatly appreciate it. I fully agree with you. I thought of adding the blocking diodes, but I was hoping that the solar panels should have been designed with them. However, I realized during the testing that the panels I am using didn't have reverse blocking diodes....for some reason. Thanks again for the great feedback.! Hello, A lot of resources and time go into making these videos. My videos are as honest, real, and as practical as it gets.....and I am proud of my work. You should never take one look at a thumbnail and rush to the comment section to make a disparaging assertion that is devoid of any theoretical justifications. I encourage my audience to interact by leaving constructive feedback. Please, don't waste the time of everyone in here by commenting on a thumbnail without watching the actual video as it is quite unkind of you. This is my content creation process. - Concept - Theory - Research - Calculations/Design/ - Build - Test, test, test - Analyze results - Create video - Create thumbnail Careless talk is very cheap, and we don't want it in here. If you are going to leave a comment, you must keep them constructive, and you MUST be able to articulate a technical justification to back up your claim. We must all resist the temptation of becoming an internet bully or troll - anyone can do this as this is very cheap. The Innovati0n Lab 💥

    You should take some of those base models and heavily upgrade them in quality & capacity and then sell them. Maybe add a small screen and buttons showing watts, amps, volts ect. Thanks for all your fun videos 😊

      Amazing feedback! Greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.👍👍 You read my mind as this is something I am also working on. I hit a small road block trying to find a 200k trim potentiometer in the larger packaging that would allow for the voltage a adjustment knob. I eventually did something that could work. More to follow on this effort. Stay tuned. Thanks again for your feedback. You are awesome. The Innovati0n Lab 💥 www.theinnovati0nlab.com

      Wonderful question!👍👍 I am guessing this is an audio amplifier? If so, is the 5000W the audio output power of the amp?.....or is that the required maximum input power? Please check the input power rating of your amplifier and let me know. Best wishes. The Innovati0n Lab 💥 www.theinnovati0nlab.com

    Можно ли поднять напряжение до 400 вольт, для зарядки батареи электромобиля?

      Great question.💡💡 A lot of things are possible in the realm of power and electronics. Caution:⚠️⚠️⚠️ The bigger question that I always ask myself is, "If I build this, will it be reliable, safe, and overall, cost effective?" If I am not confident with my answer to the question above, I would rather buy something that is already built and tested. I am not discouraging you, but I keep it real with all my projects. But overall, building a 400V boost converter is definitely possible.☺️ 👍👍👍 I hope this helps. The Innovati0n Lab 💥 www.theinnovati0nlab.com

    If you are using it for heating - solar water heater will be better than solar panel 60% efficiency over 20% efficiency = 300%, 3 times greater
