Something else that's interesting to try and do "no damage taken" is the Kingdom Hearts series. To my knowledge, it's possible to not only beat every game at lv1 (or something that's like lv1 in Chain of Memories), but it's also possible to not take any damage the entire game.

Yeah you basically start the kill animation for Asylum Demon while quitting out before it fully dies. Game thinks it's dead when it's not. Kinda like how you could do that for killing Greyoll if you got to the grace face enough. Also speaking of Elden Ring content, you'd probably like Skumnut. Silly name aside, he is _the_ Elden Ring Sicko. The challenges he's done is crazy. He's done the game with negative stats, Rickety Shield, roll-only, and a mod that had every status constantly building up at all times. Recently he did NG+1000 (infinite uncapped scaling mod) completely no-hit. Dude's insane.

The Asylum Demon Skip works because the game registers the demon as dead, so the knight gives you the key to the exit, that the demon would normally drop when fighting him the second time

25:34 Little fun fact about Aldritch. That human part you see atop the slug goo is not actually Aldritch, Aldritch is the goo (all the fucky power he's been abusing turned him into that) and the human is Gwyndolin. He didn't just steal Gwyndolin's crown but his whole corpse. I'm assuming that the canon is that the chosen undead killed all bosses that are available so even tho Gwyny is optional DS3 treats his death as canon and Aldritch either stole his corpse or use his weird dream manifestation power to conjure up his corpse.

The hornsent enslaved them all then killed them by cutting them up and stuffing them into the jars, creating the living jars. Marika was a numen, her home was the shaman village. It is no surprise she would be so angry at everything connected to the crucible consdering what the hornsent did to her people.

Honestly, Malenia ain't even that bad with her healing. The issue is even if you master the waterfowl dodge, if she starts it up while you're mid-swing and she immediately gets you a half second later... you literally just have 0 time to respond, and it requires time to respond. It's basically rng at that point, and thus not even difficulty, so I respond by spamming Firestorm and the big ass fire orb that's slow and tracks and stunlocking her to death just like she does me as a form of karmic retribution. So, honestly this is likely a hot take, but I give her a 7/10 in terms of difficulty both factoring no waterfowl dance rng moments (just a straight fight where she doesn't game end you by waiting for a swing and then dancing on you), or if you give her a taste of her own medicine and use the fact she can be stunned same as you to your advantage. If it seriously just wasn't the 1 attack interaction, I would gladly fight her normally because otherwise it can be a genuine test of skill and reaction and even fun. It's just annoying when that singular thing happens, mostly because they nerf fair and fun bosses like Radahn and then say "Naw, it's fine if rng kills the player.", so they are willing to nerf genuinely hard bosses but unwilling to fix genuine nonsense.

I like the interpretation of Miquela being: He is eternally youthful, and so has the mind set of a child. He wants love and compassion to reign throughout his kingdom, without understanding the conquences that will follow. Controlling all by bewitchment, never facing a desenting voice. Stealing his own brother's corpse to use as a vessel for a brother he thought would be kinder. There's no concept of the means, since he cannot comprehend what the means are, he is just moving toward the end and all costs. Like a toddler smashing the square peg into the triangle hole, as long as the peg goes in the whole it doesn't matter what happens in between.

I find it pretty interesting how Miquella and Ranni are almost perfect opposites: Though they were both born as Empyreans, only Miquella embraced it while Ranni rejected it; from the outside Miquella is golden, bright and warm while Ranni is dark and cold; but in the inside it is reversed: as Seluvis says, Ranni is actually a sweet girl; and Miquella, at the end of SotE, is but a shell of himself, cold and empty. Finally, their new ages are opposed: Miquella offers absolute safety but no freedom while Ranni give absolute freedom but no guaranteed safety.

Apparently the "flag" for Asylum demon was coded weirdly. Flag for when it dies and when the health bar reach 0 are different. And the big pilgrim for opening the asylum door is marked to be given to the player is when the health bar reach 0. That's why the key is acquired through Oscar even though the Asylum demon is not technically dead

There's actually a single offline red invasion sign you can use to beat an NPC invader instead of the 3 online invasions you would normally have to do for Varre's quest! I think it was a newer patch though, pretty sure it appeared around the same time character icons got added to show their locations on the map...
