Listen to Marisha’s normal speaking voice next to Sam’s, it’s a bit deeper. It’s really cringy when dnd players make a really high pitched voice for all females, sounds like a caricature.

I loved X-men Evolution, though I feel like there were some odd choices there (like having Xavier's school be more of a boarding house than a school) but the art and character design was great

I've watched about 30 -40 reaction videos of X-Men 97 E5 and I am amazed at how a superhero cartoon made reactors cry. Bravo Marvel, bravo! That's the quality we want from Marvel.

Came into watching these reactions late...but I watched them all because you do more than most reactors. Much love for your time. Look forward to seeing more when season 3 comes out soon. Now I wanted to clear something up, and that is in the Dungeons and Dragons game rules that you may not know...or may not have put together. The show tries to coach things in the rules of D&D so hard core fans will try to catch them, it entertains us to do so. (the scene Vax and Scanlan kept failing to get through that back door in whitestone was a cluster of bad skill roles and what is called a fumble or critical failure for example.) Races (Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Dragons etc...) and Classes (Rogue, Fighter, Wizard, Sorcerer, Bard etc...) are two different things. Which means..... Dragons can have a class (be it Fighter, Rogue, or ....Wizard and Sorcerer) just like the humans and other races. Something like a dragon doesn't always have one and Dragons also have a natural ability to do magic as well (Often having spell like abilities...which are just really faster spells than a wizard for instance) Umbersyl, Raishan and Grimscythe all have magical spell casting. (The other dragons probably do too...but we haven't seen it yet, so no spoilers there really) But whether it is just the dragons natural innate magical ability or class levels also is unclear in the show (though the rule book for Exandria for Dungeons and Dragons (called the Tal’Dorei Campaign Setting Reborn) does list much of the chroma conclaves abilities if you ever are interested in looking them up.) Much of what you think of as abilties whether our heroes or the villians...is just spell casting. Magic spells can do pretty much anything. Bring you a cup of coffee to blowing up a dragon. It all depends on the strength of the caster, and by strength I mean Class level. All classes (Fighter, Wizard etc...) have a level between 1 and 20, higher the level, the more you can do and the more powerful you are.) Ancient dragons (which the four in season two are) Often have that innate ability to cast spells, which they can then augment with sorcerer or wizard, or druid, or cleric...you get the idea...class levels. So when you think their ablities have changed..really they just used a spell they haven't used before (There are hundreds of spells to do just about anything) When they gain levels they often strengthen their class abilities and gain new spells (When scanlan figured out the scroll in the Scanbo episode of whitestone...he then gained the knowledge to cast whats called Polymorph which allows you to change your shape) Pike uses spells of healing, often a spell called Guiding Bolt...and a Cleric class ability to destroy undead (which is why when they faced a undead horde she was so potent.) Almost all Keyleth does is spells except for her ability to change shape. Scanlan is also almost all spells in the game. Also in case no one mentioned it and because she is a favorite of yours..Keyleth and her people the Ashari are totally based on the Avatar: The Last Air Bender anime. Hence the reason for the AIr, Fire, Water, Earth Ashari. Marisha Rey is a huge avatar anime fan, And it shows how you can bring something you love into a D&D game.

the shortest and most non-revealing things would be calamity, then campaign 1, then campaign 2. both campaigns have quite a lot of long-term content. but even if you watch the campaigns it better to check out calamity so you have a small understanding of the world and what comes about after this video.

I just started watching your reactions (specifically because I'm a fan of Critical Role), and I am absolutely captivated with how much effort you put in to it! I have watched (and really enjoyed) a lot of reaction channels, but the one thing I'm often missing is the reactors taking time to learn and investing time in the show they are watching. Even if I have enjoyed those reactions, I can't help but get frustrated when it seems like they just rush through the seasons without any interest in learning about it; specially when the comments are full of answers to questions they are asking in the video. I know everyone is different, and watch things in their own way (and that is totally cool), but it is very satisfying to watch someone put the extra effort in to a fandom I am interested in! I am sure at least some other people feel the same way watching you! Seeing you reading comments and wanting to learn more is awesome! Keep up the good work! I hope to see your reaction to season 3 when it hits in October :D (I think it's October at least:P)

Brennan mostly runs games and has done so since he was 10. There is a great new interview out with him where he goes into a lot more detail about his life. He does occasionally get to be a player. The only thing better than Brennan GM'ng in my book is him playing a character. Dimension 20 seasons Misfits and Magic, A Crown and Fey and Flowers, Burrows End, and Ravening War (But watch Crown of Candy first) are all seasons Brennan get to play. He is also a player in one of Cristal Role's Candela Obscura seasons, as well as Battle for Beyond by DnD Beyond. Finally, he, Lou, and Aabria along with another friend Erica all have a podcast that is soooooo very good. Its called Worlds Beyond Number. They are in their first campaign with a few once shots here and there.

Alys Rivers, the woman at Harrenhal, is a witch of sorts. While she appears young, some say she is ancient. There is a popular fan theory that I like, but don't buy into, that when Alys Rivers "died" she adopted the identity of a Red Priestess of the Lord of Light called Melisandre.

The battle at the beginning, the battle of the burning mill, was between the Blackwoods,(team black), and the Brackens,(team green). The Blackwoods and Brackens have been feeding for more than a millennia, so long no one remembers why. You may remember from season 1 episode 3, "King of the Narrow Sea" when Rhaenyra was receiving suitors at Storms End and a young boy made his pitch while an older bully chimed him, but then the younger killed the older bully. The younger was of House Blackwood and the bully from House Bracken and that's why they fought. I'm probably wrong, but the Blackwood we saw in this episode may be Benjicott Blackwood who becomes known in this war as Bloody Ben Blackwood.

The sawing sound was them cutting off the head of Prince Jaehaerys. They said a couple of times "no head, no gold." The murder of that poor little boy was much worse in the book. I'm glad they toned it down for the show.

I can't really choose between team green and team black because they both kind of suck? As for favorite GoT character, I can't do that. I CAN list a favorite pairing though and that's Arya and the hound. When she walks away as he's begging her to kill him was a crazy moment. Another great moment was Jamie in the tub with Brienne after he gets de-mittened and he's telling her about when he earned the title Kingslayer. POWERFUL moment.

She has the terrible burden of trying to make everyone understand that she is doing everything she possibly can to protect humanity! Dont feel bad if you feel a little lost at times. This show kept me guessing the whole way through. It drip feeds you a lot of reveals steadily over the show. I think, at times at least, that we're supposed to feel like John; a little lost. I think the Game of Thrones comparison is a fair one. Theyve both got a lot of moving parts, complex character motivations, etc. The drama and intrigue keeps piling. I also appreciate the fact that it sidesteps the whole "White Savior" trope. There are definitely some trappings of it here and there but they manage to avoid falling into that trope. Maaaaan weve got some good stuff coming out soon. Arcane season 2, Vox Machina season 3, The Boys season 4 !!!!

So from here on out any time youre hearing English spoken, theyre actually speaking Portuguese. It was an artistic choice that i understand as it makes it a bit more palatable to a predominantly english speaking audience. Anjin is the japanese word for Pilot and thats what they call John Blackthorn. I also thought it was amusing they named their pilot episode the japanese word for Pilot. Maybe I take my media too seriously because I always struggle to answer your ending question. It really depends on the type of thing I'm watching what my criteria for shows are. I guess in general if I'm looking for a good show, the dialogue has to be on point and it needs to match the tone of the scene around it. If a show, through its writing, I'd able to make me feel the kinds of emotions the writers intend for me to feel, that's a success in my eyes. Something that will immediately turn me off? If the actors are phoning it in. A good actor can elevate a poorly written piece. There are movies and shows that are RIDICULOUS and yet you can tell the actors are all in on every scene and it elevates the work. The same is true in reverse; poorly written dialogue and scenes can make a good actor look silly. All in all I'm really glad you enjoyed this. There's always that slight anxiety when recommending a show to someone that it's just not gonna click with them for one reason or another.

So the board at the end, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were listed as 'Off World' and the blonde if I am not mistaken was Magik, the younger sister to Cololssus and I think Morph turned into her during episode 3. Watching from west of Philly. GO BIRDS!!!
