The Iron Man suit in this episode is the same one he used in season 1 of the 90s Iron Man animated series. An interesting choice, because the armor was completely revamped for the second season (along with the writing staff and animation studio), as well as for his appearance in Spider-Man the Animated Series, which guest-starred the X-Men. This episode takes place after the end of both series as verified by Peter and Mary Jane's cameo appearance. Personally, I would have gone with the season 2 armor, but I won't complain. Bastion has the ability to teleport. He did it once previously at the end of episode 8. He also has the abilities of the advanced sentinel Nimrod born into him. Nimrod would immediately begin reconstructing itself when damaged or destroyed. Polaris was the other "child" on the boat. She was previously seen briefly in the original series episode "Cold Comfort." In the comics, the consciousness of Scott and Jean are transported 2,000 years into the future by their time-displaced daughter and they raise Nathan for 12 years under the guise of two others named "Slym" and Redd," but they kept their identities a secret from him. This happened in the miniseries "The Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix."
Jubilee’s power is shooting plasmoids which are like micro explosions of plasma so she has a lot of potential and it’s great they’re finally letting her learn to use it
Her "plasmoids" in essence are globules of intense light. She can make the light reach solar intensity. The plasmoids can be fully manipulated by her. Can float and she can reabsorb them into her body. When she was part of Generation X, Emma Frost posits that Jubilee has the potential to explode her plasmoids on the molecular level. You got no idea how much I wish Jubes could be treated like Kitty Pryde-- given the chance to be an adult and taken way more seriously. She could be WAY more dope in the hands of a writer who cared
She blew Bastion's whole head off. And her and Roberto are marked "AWOL" on Forge's board. I think you'll get the Jubilee you're looking for in Season 2.
Morph was confessing their own feeling for Wolverine in a form that would resonate with him, "She can't say it but I can" they were trying to motivate Wolverine to heal while also saying the quiet part out loud. Messed up to use someone else's form but it made sense in this instance.
Yeah, Onslaught is the merger of them psyches of Xavier and Magneto but people forget he didn’t show up right away. So them going into Apocalypse stories is more accurate to the comics anyway
It’s not the very first suit but a classic style. His first suit was grey like actual iron. Pretty sure that suit was made for his cartoon show which was set in the same world but never did very big numbers.
That’s the ‘90s animated Iron Man suit. Back in the day both in the comics and the animated show they had a form fitting armor. I’m an Iron Man fan but I never liked that part of the armor. I feel like the armor really became great with Extremis, maybe just before
The duo that cameoed in Hells Kitchen with Dare Devil were Cloak and Dagger. I missed identifying them my first watch, but caught with them on the follow up. This show has sooo sooo many cameos, but it does not feel over done. I love this so much! Polaris, Magneto's daughter, was the shadowy figure on the boat with Rogue, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. ♥ Morph - appreciate how much this character contributed to iconic appearances this season. I think you would enjoy the Fallout series. Check it out!
So the board at the end, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were listed as 'Off World' and the blonde if I am not mistaken was Magik, the younger sister to Cololssus and I think Morph turned into her during episode 3. Watching from west of Philly. GO BIRDS!!!
The Askani are a religious order of rebel fighters, with some time-travelers returning to the modern era, in the late 37th century, dedicated to upholding the X-Men's beliefs and battling Apocalypse. And as far as Showing Rogue's real power, they have not even scratched the surface yet! Also!!!! Apocalypse (En Sabah Nur) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is one of the world's first mutants, and was a principal villain for the original X-Factor team and later the X-Men and related spin-off teams. Created by writer Louise Simonson and artist Jackson Guice, Apocalypse first appeared in X-Factor #5 (June 1986).[3] Apocalypse is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe where he is the husband of Genesis and the father of the original incarnation of the Horsemen of Apocalypse. But you know this.
I am not sure I’d consider Nightcrawler beyond omega bc omega particularly means u can effect the whole earth or more with ur power at once, like Magneto did. But, his defenses are absolutely insane and he’s as good a sword fighter as Shang-Chi is a fist fighter.
The finale shows the Alpha & the Omega, i.e. the beginning and end of History on Earth. Apocalypse is the Alpha. Nathan Summers is the Omega. They battle each others through time, from the beginning to the end.
Hey man! Have to admit, i haven't been able to keep up other than stuff like Vox Machina, but it's a good time to check out what you're thinking of '97 for me!
Sooo theyre definitely not gonna do it, but at some point i wanna see the scott who could cycle the energy produced from his eyes throughout his whole body giving him super strength, the ability to fly, and the ability to control his optic blasts. Id love to see that animated. Ive already recommended a show, and just forewarning Shogun is 10 episodes, each about an hour it might be a pain to edit. So if its too much work or not your thing i won't be offended at all if you end up not doing it. Also im commenting from South Texas!
Ayyyyyee south texas!! Yes I thought u recommended shogun and I'm gonna give it a shot, may be an easier edit with dialog but we will see, wish me luck lol. I for sure see cyclops power with that ability animated!!!
Hey Bobby. If you like, check out the miniseries, The Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix, for background on Scott and Jean being in the future with Nathan.
Here’s what you see if you freeze on Magneto’s file. Real Name: Magnus (implying that his real name is Max Eisenhardt) AKA: Erik Lensherr, David Hemblen (his original voice actor), Ian M----- (McKellen), Michael F----- (Fassbender)
30:15 Just so you know for your future videos of season 2, Morph is nonbinary, their pronouns are they/them. It's a change from the old show. And Beau DeMayo has confirmed Morph has romantic feelings for Wolverine, so we should get more character development next season!
It was a random video on my feed but wasn't sure if the thumbnail was just click baiting which sounds like it was. Didn't actually watch the vid to find out yet

When Bastion teleports it is from Cable’s arm but it’s the teleport in space called a Body Slide. Time travel is Time Sliding
The name body slide for an ability sounds so dope to me. Like something straight outta mortal kombat lol

Ooooo cloak and dagger! Forgot about them and never got around to the show that came out on hulu I believe! Yeeeeees thanks for reminder on fallout!
Never thought I'd be excited for Deathbit but LET'S GOOOOOOO

Awesome! Thanks for filling me in on the things I missed! And I will proudly support ur birds when they aren't playing the browns lol!!

Every time period you saw was connected to an Apocalypse story in the comics so we’re going heavy Apocalypse

I doing know what you were looking at but Nightcrawler isn’t that powerful. I love Nightcrawler but his appeal has never been due to power levels
