I am a huge Pete Rose fan and collector of his memorabilia. This channel includes Pete Rose TV commercials and other videos that I have purchased over the years and had converted from older formats to mp4. On a related note, I have also created two enormous spreadsheets listing nearly every Pete Rose collectible and publication ever issued. There are more than 3500 entries. Please feel free to contact me for more information. Finally, I highly recommend the Pete Rose 4192cards website (link below). I do not own it, but I contribute to it regularly.

Too bad that Pryor turned into a druggie. He was a great boxer, uneatable at time throughout his career. Drugs took it all away.
Pambele un grande en el boxeo 🥊💪
Arón estaba drogado y pambele mal preparado
Pambele el mejor
Boxing facts interesting ruclips.net/user/shortsTdbmFU89zpw?feature=shared
You know something crazy? That little boy, Aaron Pryor Jr. is still an active fighter at age 46. Just fought two months ago and is ranked #202 in the world.
How fun was the hawk to watch.impressive .
The Hawk always had a squad with him
8:25 "Rose kept hustling around 3rd" ...uh, yeah
Watch Pete Rose’s face light up with a big smile whenever Stan spoke highly of him. Getting compliments from someone he admired must have meant a lot to Pete. In fact getting complimented by a baseball legend is just as meaningful as getting inducted into the Hall of Fame. So though he was never inducted into the HOF, at least Pete got the satisfaction of receiving the high honor granted to him by Stan the Man Musial.
Pete was human, all too human, and yet he was bigger than life. I’m just glad to hear Phil Donahue say, in front of the whole world, what the Hall of Fame is so reluctant to acknowledge: “Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to present the greatest player in the history of baseball…Pete Rose.”
Hero
The real tribute to Pete now that he is gone is for MLB to admit its hypocrisy and stop the blatant and incestuous relationships with gambling entities.
Even Sugar Ray Leonard avoided him, preferring to move up in weight to fight Ayub Kalule rather than face Aaron Pryor
I happen to see pete in an expo uniform! May of 1984 against s.f. Giants. He received the loudest cheer of any player.
The Hawk made us Cincy proud
Pete Rose 1941-2024
What's ironic, is that he got his 4,000th career hit against one of his old teams (not yet played for).
I think petes helmet flew off more than any player combined in history
Being a longtime Twins fan, I remember Greg Gagne, shortstop on the 87 and 91 World Champion Twins, oh my goodness, his helmet came flying off all the time, as well, as fast as he flew around the bases. ⚾️
The likelihood is that Rose's bat was corked. A memorabilia collector acquired a bat used by Rose during his run-up to his 4000th hit and had it x-rayed. Sure enough, the bat was hollow and had either cork or "superballs" in it.
Aaron Pryor at his peak was one of the greatest fighters in history. He would have easily won the lightweight championship if Jim Watt or Hillary Kenty had fought him!
It was only fitting that Pete Rose broke the record in front of his hometown. Since the day Marge Schott bought the Cincinnati Reds, she made it her mission to bring Pere Rose back home because, in her own words. "Pere belongs to Cincinnati, and he should have never left. There is no way I would allow him to break the record in another uniform but a Cincinnati Reds uniform. The record will be broken in his hometown."
Pete Rose Talking to President Reagan was the Thrill of Victory!
2 pitches in a row could have been strikes ...and then it wasn't a hit...
great job charlie hustle
RIP # 14
He gave Rose a chance to come clean. He told Rose to reconfigure his life. What he said at @1:25 -
Little known fact…at age 44, and at the time of his record breaking hit, Rose’s on base percentage ranked fifth in the league. He knew how to get on base.
And 2:28 2:28 people say he was no good in 1985 😅
RIP # 14
Pete Rose and the Harrenn man!
RIP. wish he'd've been inducted while he was still alive.
Interesting note…Bart Giamatti is the father of actor and Academy Award Nominee Paul Giamatti.
This is NOT the 4000th hit, he hit a double to right field. In fact it was also his 1000th Extra base hit too. This is miss-labeled.
RIP Pete Rose. 9/30/24.
RIP Legend 🕊
Rip petey . Shame on the mlb
RIP Pete.
Ripas Charlie Hustlas
Cervantes was older than dirt
Talk about Leonard talking Pryor, seems like Cervantes in his prime, was ducked by Duran no disrespect.
Pambele, hisó buen gesto,a san basilio dandole lux eletrica
I wish my team today had a roster full of Pete Rose.
You would be broke and in last place.
