I wish you did commentary. I love watching your builds, and have started your playlists from the beginning to see them all in order, but I would love to hear your process as you go through it.

This has been the MOST helpful video to me. I have been playing with SB mode and the roof has been the MOST frustrating thing to me. Now maybe I can actually finish the 3 houses I have foundation and walls down for.

Which dlc do the stairs belong to?

I just tried to build one of your houses... I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong with the dimensions cause the bedroom was TINY. As in, I could fit a bed in there and nothing else lol Everything else fit fine but I could not make the bedroom work at all.

I added a few of my own touches but otherwise I'm building this house along with you. Once I figure out how to put it on the gallery I'll show you <3

I'm new to HF2 and just started doing the custom jobs and of course that made me want to create my own. This was so helpful! I'm going to have to save this as I know I will get confused when actually doing it and will need a reference. Thank you so much for all these tutorials :)

I came upon your vid by accident...and watched and learned from the whole thing! Good job! :D What I was looking for (and still haven't found) is a video on how to make a sloped roof. I have tried so many times and always fail. I've been looking for an instructional vid for quite awhile, and I'm sure YOU could make one! :D I accidentally deleted the sloped roof on a building I was remodeling and have yet to figure out how to replace it, and I have been unable to find video help. Thanks!

It’s not as easy to decorate houses without all the workshop goodies…is it. It’s irritating that they left out so much from the first game, accessories, decorations, furniture and kitchen and bath sinks and cabinets. What makes it worse is they held it all back so they could sell it to us again in DLC’s. They will probably hold back the workshop capability until they have released some of the DLC’s.

Is there any way to delete some of the photos you’ve taken? I only used 3 cameras but there’s double photos for most of the cameras

I would love to see a build based off a picture. Not a picture of a detailed house but an inspiration from maybe an abstract sculpture, or a charcoal horror drawing, or bob ross, etc.

1:03:00 I feel like if you're having a hard time picking out colors that would look nice together maybe a pick of reference photo or 2 and a color palette that you are trying to achieve and don't stray from it. I see that you do have a color palette that you're trying to keep with but it's hard to not pick something in a different color because you feel like the other colors are a bit too strange together. If you want something to be the first thing you look at obviously pick something that contrasts and if you want it to blend in you pick a color that is the same or similar. If you want it to show up a bit maybe pick a different texture. It's all based on the style you are trying to achieve and if you don't have a specific set of rules to keep yourself in line then it can get out of hand really quickly; you would feel too spoiled for choice. It's easier to just pick an option because it fits with the feeling of what you're making instead of sitting there and getting annoyed that you can't pick. Maybe try to use less colors on the bigger objects and then use the decorations to add more depth and variation. All your builds turn out beautiful so I'm not critiquing, I'm just trying to see if some of that choice spiraling can be minimized in any way.

Do you have a floor plan for this. i absolutely love it and hate the castle they gave us in game the stairs are a nightmare yuk. Hope to hear from you

I love all the 3 builds, but there's just something about the Trailer, it's so cozy that I felt peace just by looking at it. You know, I don't want expensive mansions or penthouses. THIS is the stuff I'd want in life

Man these videos inspire me to download HF2 again, but when I actually sit down to build a home, my mind just runs empty and I end up deleting the game again lmao. Btw this is a total dream home

I started my actual first build in HF2 last night and before I knew it 7.5 had passed and it was 3am lol I am still learning how to do a lot of things and it really helps to watch your viseos so thank you for sharing. I love all your builds and flips, ideas seem to come from you with so much ease and you sure know how to use all the tools and all the tricks as well. I plan on watching all your videos and see what else I can learn. I am still a bit confused on the fishing line use. I saw you use them on rocks to inset them in the ground but I think you also used it on the small round ceiling lights when you inset them in the cabinets. I tried to inset them but couldnt figure it out lol It seems I have a lot to learn. Thank you again for sharing these will all of us!!

Do you post items on workshop for House Flipper as well? Also how did you learn how to do all this stuff? I tried building with HF 1 and ended up with a mess lol ust started trying to build in HF2 as well and it seems a bit easier but I find I have issues trying to decide how to make the shape of the house. Do you know ahead of time what you are wanting to build like a blueprint?

I have watched a few of your videos now and it amazes me at just how good you are at this. You think out of the box to get new ways of makinging things with such a limited decor list as well as creative ideas how to add trim and other things to the outside decor. I have learned a lot from just watching your videos and plan on watching a lot more of them. You have given me the inspiration to attempt my first real build or at least play around with it a bit and I thank you for that as I had a huge mental block telling myself I couldnt build a whole house. I can tell that you have spent many many hours learning all about this game and it shows in your builds, they look so realistic and lived in. I am Saelwinn in the game just so you know as I like to try and comment on posts to the different groups as I go through them for ideas .
