We are happy to announce the rebirth of Ages of the Federation II for Sins of a Solar Empire II. This test footage features a Federation Constitution Class starship in the Sins of a Solar Empire II engine. Ages of the Federation II takes place in the TMP and TLE eras and will feature Federation, Cardassian, Romulan and Klingon major factions. Yes this was an April Fools.

I wish Empire at War had Star Trek models and modding quality like this. Sins of a Solar Empire just doesn't scratch the space combat itch for me.

@cowbertnet oh yeah, not "miss" as in want to play again, but "miss" as in "yearn for a remake or a new version or official sequel"
ST: Armada 4 looks fantastic. Love the modern visuals. I know it's still early in development for the mod, but any chance of seeing ships we didn't get in Armada 3 down the line? Like the the canon Odyssey Class, Pathfinder Class, etc., or non-canon ships like the Sovereign Class Archangel Refit, the Athena or Juno Classes by D.J. Curtis, etc?

I hope the ships move around like they did in STA3, i loved that. the static fighting in vanilla ruins the combat spectacle a lot. Looks fantastic otherwise!
