I started this game back in December of 2022 after seeing Discord's official channel post a video about it. The game looked interesting, but at the time, I didn't know the meaning behind it, until I had sent Gwen through the Everdoor. I slowly realized what this game's deeper meaning was, and let me tell you, it was extremely impactful to me, in a fantastic way. It was the only game I could play for the longest time. I unfortunately took a break for awhile and only recently started playing again. This game really has changed me and how I view a lot of thing about life, and life as a whole. And I just wanted to say thank you for making this amazing video <3.

Before I watched toh for this first time this year, Lumity was the aspect I heard most about and I never understood the hype around it. Then I decided to watch the show for myself a few weeks back and after finishing it, yeah I can definitely see why ppl hype the ship as much as they do and the more I think about it, the better it is. Definitely one of my favorite ships of all time now.

Man, i really hope Netflix greenlits more seasons of this show. It is truly the best animated Sci-Fi series in years! I so adore it! Also, great video essay, pal. 😁👍

Your passion shines through during every single minute, and it's honestly rare for me to sit down and watch essays like this, but it's just so refreshing to see an absurdly insightful, genuinely well-written analysis on this show. I love your editing style and I know you probably hear this a lot but damn your channel is underrated lol. I am not the biggest Steven Universe fan in the world, but the audiovisual design of the series always stuck out to me, and getting to see someone take a passionate deep dive into the beautiful complexity of the show's aesthetics was such a treat. I was shocked that Disney did this when they kissed I cheered I'm a straight white guy in my 40's I'm really outside the whole dating thing I have never had an relationship. But I have always felt Love is love as long as the other person feels the same it's not my concern,I swear I had no Idea how great this show is and Lux and Amity it one big reason I love it. Right now my country is in a bad place well soon find out if were turning a corner or driving off the cliff I fear for the people not in the "norm" I say that as they do.

Man, the dynamic and rivalry between these 2 characters has always been one of my favorites in fiction since I first watched MHA 1st season back in 2017. Seeing how their relationship has grown and become more complex was a joy to watch, and when Deku and Bakugo finally started to work together, especially in Heroes Rising against Nine, damn it was such a massive payoff. This show is juat a masterclass in writing and characters.

This show had so much soul and heart it’s quite unbelievable to me. The sound design is also out of this world, it’s been a while since I’ve loved a show as much as this one and I watch a lot of media. Amazing video!

Wow, fantastic analysis and outlook of Bebop and connecting it to depression. I first watched Cowboy Bebop back in 2017 or 2018 when a friend I met in college strongly recommended it to me. On that whim I bought the complete series on DVD at Walmart for $25. Best $25 I ever spent! Idk what or how but the series just resonated with me on a profound level. I cried at the end of the series. Only other anime series that made me do that, was Wolf's Rain (lot of connections to Bebop!!!). I guess you could say at that time in my life I connected to this series as a young adult? Either way, Cowboy Bebop and Wolf's Rain are my favorite anime series of all time!!! Thanks for making a different kind of Cowboy Bebop connection to a real world mental health disorder!

I'm gonna be transparent with you The book of kells,song of the sea and Wolfwalkers were basically staples of my Childhood besides the iron giant and how to drain your dragon and other such emotional masterpieces from years past They composed the entirety of my childhood from crashbox to loonie tunes It all comes flooding back now. And oh boy, do they bring me to tears? Because they were so good. Both de story and animations and the music and the characters. They all brought the movies to lights. Vaccine, especially the emotional ones. Cause it's movies that speak to your heart and deepest desires that literally make you tear up and cry whilst you're watching it. There are good ones. The ones that have good animations. Good stories, good songs, good characters. Good voice, acting everything's great about it. And then it has to have a emotional centerpiece that speaks the viewer and makes them bring out their inner self. When the movie's mentioned, let alone watched either it be for the first time or for a rekindling of the nostalgic memories, emotional movies with good aspect. Can make a person's life better or worse. Sometimes it can cause depression and other times it can make you cry out of sheer joy. It's movies like these that we miss in modern days. Cause they're swelled up and consumed by corporate corporations. That just want to make political allegorit's just to make a few quick dimes out of some brainless child. And move on.

Watched this then they show and I am glad I did. It didn't spoil and it made me want to watch the show.

Haven't watched Scavenger's Reign yet, tho it's been sitting on my to-do list for a while. To paraphrase the fictional character Cid Highwind, "The moon would get tired waiting around for my ass." After watching this, however, I can confidently say that I'll be checking out the show at some point in the next 48 hours. Color me invested.

I don't have cable but I think I was able to see one episode on Adult Swim in 2020 -2021.

Fun fact: The boat in Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” is Russian because he got the idea to have his vampires drink blood from Russian mythos! Slavic vampires are described as people who have risen from the dead due to dying under peculiar circumstances and then proceed to visit their loved ones again in order to drink their blood. As a die hard fan of Tsutomu Nihei’s cyberpunk manga series “Blame!” I wasn’t surprised at all that I fell in love with “Scavenger’s Reign” as well! The fact that I personally was reminded of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” when I watched it made me really resonate with your video. Keep up the good work!! 👍🏽

This show needs to be consumed by everyone. I think everyone can take some spiritual metaphor from the show if they were to give it a chance. I recommend it to a lot of people, maybe only one of them have followed through.

Scavengers reign reminded me of the 1970’s French animated film “fantastic planet”. It hits a lot of the same marks of the sublime you mention in this video. Dwarfing humanity in the face of an alien unexplainable planet. And while I agree with you there is an element existential horror I just want to see more of how these worlds operate. The biological machinery of the world and its uncaring attitude towards those trying to understand it.

Hands down one of the most beautiful shows I have ever watched, the art style, the voice acting, the score, the worldbuilding, it was all done so well, the story was sooo well written. I really wish more people would watch it so that we could get a season 2, but I unfortunately do not think it is going to get the greenlight. But the show has sooo much to offer and so much potential especially with the ending we got, it really makes you want to know whats coming up. I don’t just want a season 2, I quite literally NEED a season 2.

My dad and i watched this together at dinner an episode per meal. We were both enthralled and didnt want it to end. I really hope someone picks it up for a second season. I have a feeling it will turn out to be a cult classic, criminally unappreciated in its time, only to get its just desserts years later. If anyone enjoyed scavengers Reign, i highly recommend adrian Tchaikovsky's... chidren of time i think. Scifi bestseller. It tickles the same itch for exploration of biology developing in a world other than ours as well as humanity at its best and worst. Science heavy. Makes me consider our own existence and how we came to be.
