Anna is still the same classic beauty she was in the 90s. 5:52 Is it me or does the conductor look an awful lot like character actor Matt Clark?
I remember it feeling a little arrogant to think at the time that we were living in the best era of music in history. Along with people always going back to the mid 60's to early 70's as being the high water mark of it all. But when you consider the sheer volume of incredible talent that came out of the 90's as a whole, there really is nothing comparable to that era.

Chillin on the 4th chord and landing on the "and 1" every time really gives this song that sense of anticipation. It only seems to resolve in the verses.
A nice visit to the MK ULTRA office. Multiples of the violinist showing her different alters. Animal print bra showing sex kitten programming. Short blonde hair indicating controlled subject. Ring watch as a trigger device for hypnosis induction. It's all there.

This is so ridiculously good! The composition, the harmonies, the violin, and the drumming is just so well done! I'm just blown away! I never knew about this band in the 90's and I'm perplexed how they never got radio play. It's a crime and it makes me sick! I just found them yesterday and now I'm going to make up for lost time by playing this over and over for the next few months.
Wow the singer sounds eerily similar to Liz Phair! I never knew about this band until I read some comments on some The Rentals videos. This is my first time hearing them and they sound great! Another great band from the 90's I missed out on. Better late than never I guess.
in case you haven't heard it, you might like weezer's pinkerton b-side "i just threw out the love of my dreams." the singer from this band does vocals. pretty good song!

Pretty underrated band from the 1990’s. Got to see them open for Beck (1994 i think) and the Foo Fighters after they released their first album.

this song was my coming out song... for my 14th birthday, my friends got me tickets to see that dog at soma in 1994 with the queers and jawbreaker. gotta find my ticket somewhere... we hung out with karl from the say it aint' so video... doing the laundry and also at the merch table was joey waronker... we all were hanging out and was invited to sit on the sidestage to see jawbreaker. good times to be growing up listening to some of the best damn music of the times!
In 1995, in Fribourg, Switzerland, my friend Jeremy and I were walking towards the Frison hall to attend the FooFighter concert and there a van stopped next to us. The van passengers were looking for the concert hall. We showed them the way. They then offered to take us there. Once in the van we saw the musical instruments and recognized the members of the group That Dog!!! Really cool and nice people! Love you That Dog!! Peace

I have, and always will love That Dog. So. Frickin'. GOOD! Everyone loves the Haden sisters, but how about some love for Anna? She's terrific! Also, I was so lucky to have seen them live on the tour for this album (opening for Matthew Sweet) because their harmonies live are EVEN BETTER. Holy crap, some of the best I've ever heard live...right up there with Jess & Holly from Lucius.
