Thanks for the algo comment. Borderlands is a paid pack, so assuming you either bought it with points from playing, someone gifted you a guest pass or you got it through the free quest pack coupon. Night Revels is the best (and only) way to get one for free at the moment, but unfortunately 11 out of 12 months a year free to play players can't get one. There was also the free chunky green dragon mount limited time giveaway from this past year but that was a one time thing...I guess technically two time since they are doing the rewards again on Cormyr here soon.

@@BrianStevens-y6h I've been doing that in previous episodes, but it's much more convenient to not have to rely on a wand with a short duration. I don't have anything better for the helm slot anyway at the moment.

@@AxelAlexKIt's the best way to get max from the pots too, worn items will stack on equip but pots/wands etc. don't.

Here's my test case and why sometimes is worth while, have +2 dex cloves, for a 19dex, if use the wand while wearing adds 1 at best, but if pull the dex goves and wand up dex 21 with or without the gloves, so if wearables less than 4+ it might pay on bosses to strip off and wand up regear.

A short raid isn't a problem in and of itself, but Threats Old and New is the only raid in a full expansion which costs $40, $80 or $130. The length is just one of many aspects of the raid that showed it clearly didn't get the dev time or creativity that should have been put into it. It'd be much less of an issue if this was a raid put in as part of an adventure pack, or even a mini-expansion.

@AxelAlexK Yes. I agree. But look at all the many DDO players that spend $40 $80 or $130 and never see the inside of the raids. I personally have bought four ultimates and have only done one of the raids one time out of the four. Is that my fault ? I'm not sure about now... but in the past most players don't see the inside of the raids.

@DustyLeeSledge I don't think that's true, lots of players run the raids. Some choose not to, just like some don't run all the quests, but I don't think that's most. If you want to run them, all the last 4 expansion raids are very do-able shortman on Normal for average power level characters so you don't need 12 people. Most servers have some kind of regular weekly raiding groups open to all if you want to look into them and join, usually discord is the best place to find them. I host raids open to all at 3pm EST Saturdays on Thelanis if you happen to be on that server and want to join my discord.

@@AxelAlexK I've played since launch and have seen raid groups slowly decline especially in the last five to six years. I think the last time I would see multiple raid groups in the LGF was the Ravenloft release and now I see none. That's why you have to schedule server wide raid times.

@DustyLeeSledge You're right that there's less LFMs, the game is not as big as it was back in the late 00s/early 2010s. But as someone who leads raids weekly - you'd be surprised how often the lack of someone willing to start the group is the issue, not lack of players. You do have to get involved in discords these days to get consistent groups though, that's for sure. Some of this is player population declining, but a lot of it is also the advent of discord and it dramatically changing how people communicate/socialize in MMOs - pretty much all regular DDO raiding groups no longer use DDO's in game social features anymore, and don't start LFMs very much. It's all done through discord. DDO's voicechat in particular is bad and buggy, it pretty much necessitates the use of an outside program.

@@Iggy4470 For +6, which is triple heroic completionist, you need to do a past life in every class, three times. It's the crowing achievement of reincarnation in DDO...the longest/hardest thing to get.

@@AxelAlexK there are several people in the guild say this incorrect they have 3 lives in all heroics and only get + 2 not +6 ? would you be able to check this and see if that's correct please.

@Iggy4470 hmm I am seeing conflicting info after digging into this more. I will have to ask around but you may be correct. Thank you for pointing this out I have always thought it stacks 3x like every other past life feat. If you are correct I will add a correction in the pinned comment if I did indeed say +6 in the video.

@@AxelAlexK Yea on 10:08 stacks three times for +6, I really wish you were right tbh it could have been awesome but to many people with all those lives are saying not the case.

@@Noiconnotag The game really does expect you to sell most things you get. You're right, there isn't enough storage. Not enough to keep much. You have to sell most things to vendors, or crunch them for crafting or sentient jewel xp. What a lot of players do is create alternate characters just for storage, and pass them items through the shared bank (which is not free btw).

Even if you pay, the inventory is tiny. With the reincarnation system you need something like at least 5 armour sets (lvls 5/10/15/20/30) for every class in the game. + weapons. +different sets for different builds within the same class... That's a LOT. DDO does not provide enough inventory for that. Not even close to that. Yet, people are manage somehow. But everything else, especially green randomly generated items, should be sold. Old players usually don't even open the chests while leveling, because they don't need neither that random loot nor platinum you can get by selling.

I've never known a guild that is that is anywhere near that strict on the regular servers, requiring every day logins sounds ridiculous. Maybe in past hardcore seasons you will get kicked if not very active just to make space for more people. From my experience very few will kick you out as long as you are active in the past 3-6 months, and if you are gone for many months they may kick you to make space for new people. But if you do take a long break and get kicked getting a new guild just for buffs and ship is very easy on any regular server so it's no big deal.

Yeah sometimes I just don't see them and run past them, I try to grab them as much as I can.

Diplo is a necessity if you don't have a really high intimidate, especially in places like party crashers.

@@skillsnshet For triple com you should only need 3 in total, so 3 of any combination of archetype/base class. Archetypes count as base class for purposes of completionist. They aren't in addition.
