I’m pretty sure you can’t skip cutscenes in the switch version. It’s been awhile but I have the switch version and don’t remember skipping cutscenes

I like the long-form format, but you also need to consider your strengths and where you can push yourself to make your content the best it can be. This is just my 2 cents

Yes there was a version of Tidus that existed in Zanarkand before the fall. However, the real-life person Tidus is based on is Shuyin from X-2

I hate blitzball. It's not just the goers in the first game that cheat its everyone. Seriously the rate at which opposing teams pull things off against better numbers is statistically very dubious.

The way they promise eachother to come running if they hear a whistle in the beginning makes it so heart-wrenching in the end when Yuna whistles her lungs out after Tidus disappears... fantastic writing.

I went crazy and left this going for 5 days. By the time I stopped it and continued with the storyline I had 99 s-levels on Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, Lulu, and Kimari. They had flare for mi'hen. Also set Tidus Wakka and Kimari up quite well for some visits with the Don later on because they had each killed over 1000 scales.

Interesting... I've encountered the green screen issue myself sporadically (only sometimes). I never realized it was a vsync issue. Edit: oh you have the same graphics card as I do. I also rock the 3070Ti

First of all, I love the vibe of you doing your 100% Run, and I am totally here for it. However, I don't think the Fayth, Auron and Sin (Jecht) saying that they brought Tidus to Spira is a plot hole. Here is my read on this. 1) Jecht disappears from Dream Zanarkand (most likely with the help of the Fayth) and is presumed dead by those in Dream Zanarkand. The Fayth would know about Jectht and Tidus because it is the Fayth that dream Zanarkand and all that live there from their memories of the real-life Zanarkand. 2) Jecht when he is about to become the Fayth of the Final Summoning for Braska asks Auron to go to Zanarkand and look after Tidus and when he is old enough, bring him to Spira. Which Auron Does and he rides Sin after he dies from his wounds inflicted by Yunalesca to go to Dream Zanarkand to fulfill his promise to Jecht. 3) Jecht, as sin is for a little while still able to control his own mind and directs sin back to Zanarkand to pick Auron and Tidus back up "destroying" Dream Zanarkand to take him to the "real world" in order to break the cycle as the Fayth wanted in the first place. Hope that helps clarify this, as I believe all three entities have a hand in bringing Tidus to Spira and that it isn't a mutually exclusive thing

When I did the beginning I also weakened tidus to low health first to get the overdrive mode for that while I was at it. Also rinse repeat for Auron. Ya know, waste not.

Glad official hardcore realms came out. I like many of the rules, but some were just added for asinine reasons

This video is elite. As someone playing WoW for the first time trying out classic Hardcore, it's absolutely incredible. You lay things out in a way even a brand new player will understand, go into enough detail to feel comfortable making a decision at level 1, and still manage to keep the video concise. Thanks a bunch

Too many rules. Also playing alone like that where u are not allowed to group up or trade makes the game lonesome and depressing. Why would anyone play this?

They should allow players to res each other, but if you release you gone for good

Tried my first HC run last night with my sister, we made it to lvl 8 until I accidentally pulled too many kobolds whilst looking for gold dust and candles. RIP. Will be back!

If you want to go double gathering professions, go herbalism and mining. All you need is a cast sequence macro to swap between the tracking.

A lot of us will still play by the original rules just like we did before

Since the game lost all those years ago I have raged to the high heavens at every Zhevra kill that did not yield 4 hooves. A boar having no ribs I can accept for some reason, but the Zhevra not having any hooves? I can see them on the model, Blizzard!!!

Coming back to WoW after a decade to try HC. I like the SSF aspect, gonna stick with it either way. Never got a character to 60 before, and if I do, goddamn it’s gonna mean something

Aside from dungeons, Duos and Trios seem more like Hardcore lite.

Its actually faster to get Skinning and leatherworking at first. U skin until u have about 80 light leathers, bring your LW to 40, learn Emboss chest piece and make 6 to 8 of them. Then drop both skinning and LW and disenchant those chest pieces. You will have your lesser wand by level 7 and dont have to worry about drop rates on linen cloths. After that, u can farm the cloths for your greater wand as u have 6 levels until u can use it and should easily get enough cloths for tailoring.

I never played wow, but the hardcore was interesting. I've played the add-on and died about 5 times so far and I'm hooked. I never raided, and the concept of getting to 60 is unreal.

IT NEVER ENDS. You can always artificially up the difficulty by imposing additional rules to obtain made-up achievements in this video game. Or you can face challenges IRL. I got to Nax in Vanilla, so I know the taste of dopamine spikes in a neverending grind. It's pure escapism.
