A Reversible Apron.. is not just for Christmas
that last blue dress is really beautiful!
What a great tip!
Thank you. Very helpful, very practical examples for anyone actually looking to make these trousers. It may never be the same situation, but good points to start with when thinking through the fit. 🙂
Beautiful rolled hem. Thank you ❤️
I can’t tell you how grateful I am for this video. Ive been sewing for nearly 70 years and I’ve NEVER hemmed chiffon before. Too intimidating! My daughter asked me to shorten her “mother of the groom” dress and I was nearly ready to pay for alterations. I came across your video and once I got the Ban-Rol in the mail it took one day to measure cut and hem about 8 feet of hemline. It feels like a real success and for the first time in a while I feel proud of something I’ve done. Thanks so much!
Clever idea. Had never heard of this before 😊
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
So brilliant. Thank you.
So awesome!!! Using this for my satin formal. When doing a skirt would you cut the length of the band roll to match the skirt hem? So you can have one continuous piece?
It’s ok to overlap, you have to sometimes
I’m so glad to see you back! Your makes have inspired me to make some of my favorite clothing, and I have missed your videos. I look forward to seeing what you’re up to now.
Why aren't you responding to customer emails? I have repeatedly emailed you about the order I have not yet received.
Why aren’t you doing videos? You have some really good videos.
Could you explain the purpose of threading the bobbin thread through the needle and then threading your top thread through the machine? Do you also take the top thread through the needle? How do the threads interlock? I have never seen this technique and am just wondering what other uses this threading might be used for.
I'm very new to sewing and I had no idea that there were so many types of interfacing - my mind is boggled 😅 Thanks for all the information 👍
There are many for sure. Don't over think it thought just stick to the concept of like for like. Similar weight interface to fabric . Enjoy your sewing xxx thanks for stopping by
This is an absolute game changer. I recently took up a silk dress for my MIL (😬 yes, no pressure then!) in under half an hour from start to finish using this method! It’s fantastic, thank you xxx
So glad you found it useful
Thank you I can’t wait to try this.😊
I started using this for very narrow hems. Works like a dream!
So clever isn't it
I wasn't looking for this video but so glad I did. I am working on a pair of pants right now and I am afraid they will be to baggy.
Thanks for stopping by, excellent if just a tiny bit helps xx
Want to make the Naomi but struggling with what size to cut out. Are you happy with the size 14 fit or would you consider sizing down? Made a toile of size 14 bodice but it seemed a bit on the big size. Jx
I generally find style arc are generous on the finished siE . I went with a size 12
Did you lengthen the bodice at all?
@Joanna Stocks no, I tend to work on a wearable toile
Very many thanks x
All beautiful but the Elodie wrap dress is my favourite!
Hi there, thankyou so much 😊 Elodie is a fabulous patteen

Hi. May i know. What type of thread and needle that good for thin satin fabric?
hi 👋 thanks for popping by. I would recommend using a microtex needle. these are fine and Sharpe helping to reduce the risk of snagging. thread then should be fine with all sew
I didn't hear you mention - do you adjust your stitch length at all?
great question .no need to change stitch length just your regular
