I made the Wren blouse and loved it. I didn't even have to adjust the dart. It's really stunning and it sews up so nicely.

I love when you go over the patterns that you select and explain how you choose which size to go with - you make it seem so clear and understandable!! Yet I have such difficulty!?! I always get so much out of your videos because you put your thought process out there which, I find, makes it easier for me to match patterns with suitable fabrics. Thank you Amanda - so helpful : ))

You should really do the gold satin skirt. It'd be great with a sweater/boots combo for a dressed down look for autumn/winter ❤ xx

Great choices, especially the chambray shirt I’ve made the Nicola dress and it’s a beautiful pattern, which I think is very underestimated. Enjoy the workshop.

I really want you to make the gold satin skirt. It would be fabulous! Something to wear to dress up, when you don't know what to wear!
I have some black satin lining fabric. I'm going to make a satin bias cut skirt. Not sure how much I'll wear it, but it will last longer than one I buy and be cheaper to make! 😍

Hi Amanda, just discovered your channel and enjoying a bit of a binge. I heard you say that you always topstitch your facings down. I've tried this but never seem to get a nice, even sew as I try to keep the facing caught. Can you tell me...do you sew from the right side or do you sew them from the facing side so the bobbin thread ends up on top? Much appreciate any advice! Thanks x
