Get electric shades for your top windows. Open and close with the push of a button and they are sleek and won't distract. You can get white if you want some light but not glaring light.

Wow. 500 sq feet is larger than some apartments I've had. I recently (after being the caregiver for both parents over more than a dozen years), I sold the family farm with 2 houses and just under 30 acres and moved into a 300 sq foot studio. You are very, very fortunate.

I love all your suggestions of things to consider. I don’t live in a tiny home, but I definitely see one in my future.

Yay! Happy to see a new video. I related to the plant situation. I have a couple of plants in my kitchen where I can see them. And, yet, they still struggle because I do not possess a green thumb.

Try potted plants to block the view of the water and power at front of house. Also a small covered patio with a built-in bench under the windows in the front would be useful and cover up the water connection.

I’d do the remote blinds also. I see them in so many tiny homes on the top windows. I’d also have some type of overhang at the front door, if it’s raining as you opened the door you are not getting soaked and in water ICE as you step out. Love the guest bedroom and not a full wall there. With the shower curtains you can change if you get tired of it and in the south they get moldy SO QUICK so I replace the liner every few months. Overall I just love your home ❤

I would try a box/ plant stand that matches the front of the house. Perhaps insulated and movable. Place a pretty plant in the top portion or a piece of outdoor art. Your home is lovely!

My oh my. A screwdriver works wonders for taking down the bar in your bedroom. Add remote blinds now. It seems most of your complaints are easily remedied. Get going girl. 😊🙃

I think u can still do the push under stools and have 1 special for you for working. 2 high back 2 stools as if it was planned that way. Ying n yang! I would have that shower curtain bar INSIDE tub at the top and pull it out to shower of soak. I had to do that in a place I rented as the bathroom was so tiny n yes it drove me NUTS too. Beautiful place, and I look forward to more videos. I hope you can find property soon and add a deck. It would be pure heave for you, and a cute artistic storage box (back cut out)could sit right where that hose is.

I have the same problem with my water hose. The connection under the house makes it difficult to access. It is scheduled to be moved this spring. Also, if I was going to build another tiny I would put the water connection closer to the water catchment tank.

Build a small decorative box maybe a faux birdhouse that you can open and close easily to get to your water line on the front.

You can still have remote blinds installed provided you have the budget for it.

You could add real or artificial evergreen type bushes or trees to the water inlet and tires. Artificial is self-caring. Real is keeping them in the pots they came in and putting them in washtubs with holes for water draining. Decorate the tub's anyway you like. Fill the tubs with mulch to keep the evergreens upright during windy days. If they survive the winter you'll have to repot them and cut the roots, so they don't become root bound. Maybe even bring one in for winter to have a real Christmas tree. If not evergreen trees to put lights on the outside all year long.
