Hello! This video is necessary. 8 cores* and 32gb are the """ bare minimum """ today! Specially for editing software and multithreading. I'm glad AMD has changed the game! Rocking a 5700u laptop here. I Still think the efficiency intel cores are "waste of silicon", because they could be called half cores. I don't think it matters too much tho. But they're still there, better than nothing I'd say, but a little lacking. Sadly the laptop market doesn't have a decent 8 core processor with a low end graphics card, I dont need more than a 2050 (I think). My use case is specific and I just needed a little more GPU power, the Vega 8 just doesnt cut it, (but its surprisingly powerful on its own I have to agree) but in video editing its miles better than the older 3200u (2c4t) I had. The laptops I found had 12 threads, and a "low end" gpu, but I need 16 threads, and they are expensive because they have high end graphics cards lol. I might just give up and build a pc lol. Long comment, random babling... Yeah.. those are my thoughs. Last edit: MAYBE the Ryzen 9000 or 10000 laptop edition change the low end graphics game for my use case, since they are claiming 1060 performance on the internal GPU.

For basic everyday tasks and light gaming quad core is still fine.

that case was in the peak of pc gaming. pc cases fell off so hard after 2016 its actually crazy. im never getting rid of my define r5.

The question IS why do you want to use you're PC with integrated graphics If you have a dedicated GPU?

I'm a technician and I know what to do... you'll need to swap the cpu and install a custom bios

Check device manager since it is working with the external gpu and hopefully you should be able to see the integrated graphics in the gpu section but it looks like you have found the problem already and it is the integrated graphics not working or a bent pin

5 beeps could mean 2 things. 1. As simple as Try booting with monitor connected. 2. Might be a CPU issue try a different cpu.

That's a gigabyte Motherboard 5 beeps = CPU Your motherboard is literally telling you that the issue is with the CPU... it's literally in the motherboard service manual. Try to update the BIOS, see if that solves it, if not then the CPU is dead. Have fun

This is from a reddit post that i looked up regarding the issue 5 beep code error I just want to make this post incase it helps anyone else out and saves them all the trouble I had. I built a new computer and used the gigabyte z490 ultra motherboard also got my hands on the rtx 3080 when I started up the computer I was met with 5 semi long beeps from the motherboard and then the vga led on the motherboard came on. However the pc started up fine and everything seemed to be running. I looked over the gigabyte beep codes and 5 beeps meant cpu error however my cpu seemed to be running fine and getting picked up fine I tried everything removing ram, changing bios settings (one setting i changed enabling CSM meant i had a completely different beep code) only to find out 4 days later that its simply a conflict with the new graphics cards and the mobo. Long story short if the graphics card doesn't pick up a signal from your monitors it lets out these 5 beeps don't stress just reset the computer and make sure your monitors are on and you will find this time it will start up with the normal 1 beep and no vga light. This seems like something gigabyte should look into as the 5 beeps meaning 2 different things is really confusing and had me panicking my new cpu was faulty. I have seen a few others posting about this same issue and I dont think this answer has been put forward so I'm posting it to help anyone in the same boat I was. TLDR: don't turn pc on without monitor signal if your running a gigabyte mobo with one of the new rtx graphics cards or it will beep at you.

More than likely the newer motherboard had a video card in it when last posted, you can go into the BIOS to confirm.

You could clean the cpu with isopropil alcohol, check if there are bent and damaged pins, put in new bios battery, runit and leave it on so it can finish memory training Just advice for future

Base on my experience, integrated graphics only works using vga on some mobo but after updating graphics drivers hdmi and dp should work

mabye update the bios??? its a newer cpu so it may need to be updated for graphics to work

Nice content, if im not wrong, if you want a good working pc, Why use integrated graphics? i have an i5-10400, i got it brand new and its graphics never worked so i just threw in a 1650 and went on with my life (it was back in 2020 when the gtx 1650 was still going at a high price and like rtx 20 series 😂) today i am using a rtx 4060, no matter how unpopular it is, im getting what i want and can do what i want.. of course everyone would want the best specs and even i do but we gotta make do with what we have and i enjoy playing in 1080p and i get my 60+ fps so its fine

Use a little paintrbrush to dust the vrms on the new motherboard, nothing worse than a dusty new board when you just put in all that effort. I know you said it was sitting in your stockpile for a while but it literally takes seconds to do.

you can also turn intergrated graphic on in bios

CPU is fine: it's now a 9700KF, lol. If I was a betting man, I would suspect the your Z390 and not the chip, but I might be wrong. But then it is a Gigabyte board, so hmmm. Cool vid, cheers!
