I still think this guy should have called the cops after the fact. Even if the cops couldn't do anything at the time, they would at least have been made aware of criminal activity in the area and they could have done something to prevent further criminal activity. Also, if the dirtbags had called the cops first, they could have claimed that this guy had committed aggravated assault against them and with no video footage to the contrary it would have been a he-said, he-said type of situation.

Thank you for the video! I'm definitely going to try that. As a side note (not a criticism), you might want to note that if using an herb never used before, always start at one drop, wait a while for a reaction, if none, try two, and so on. Herbs can be vey individualistic. Better safe than sorry. Ginger is a common cooking ingredient, so not as much concern. But good to mention to lower possible liability issues. Also, to always google a new herb for contraindications.

Make sure you run the portable generator every month for 15 minutes. I set a repeating reminder on my phone calendar so I don't forget. I got a propane fueled generator so I don't have to worry about the fuel coagulating, or storing large amounts of gas.

I hope people will continue to pull together and help each other begin to thrive, not just survive. Take care, stay safe and well. You should have called the police. The gang-bangers could call them and say you tried rob them at gun point, and now they become the victim. However, I'm sure the police are aware of these guys. However, I have read about, and heard about the bad guy(s) calling the police and make out they are the victims. Glad everything worked out for you, AND the robbers didn't call the police.

What I'm doing after watching these stories (and live far far away from any coastline): This month instead of putting $ into savings I'm getting some cash and getting in small bills. I keep hearing about cash only for days after the hurricane. My propane tank was out so I exchanged it and bought another one. I'm canning water in all my empty jars. Water is my weakest link. Im getting 2 more gas cans with stabilizer.

What do you mean you didn't see fema? You just said they assessed your property and told you to file a claim. And you did. For a gutter and a touch of siding? Thats a home owners insurance deal. FEMA and military response was abhorrent. People died because they weren't there fast enough. Burn ban was dumb, you guys got how much rain? A LOT. Everything was wet. 😐
