After watching this video, I find that the importance of baptism appears to elevate the act to a level of necessity for salvation, which is not consistent with the broader teaching of the New Testament. While baptism is an important and commanded ordinance for believers (Matthew 28:19-20), Scripture indicates that it is not the means by which one is saved. Instead, baptism serves as a public declaration and symbol of the salvation that has already been received by faith in Jesus Christ. The emphasis on baptism as a necessary completion of faith can lead to confusion about the nature of grace, which is freely given and not dependent on any human act, including baptism (Ephesians 2:8-9). Spiritual baptism should be emphasized; it’s about accepting Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death on the cross. When we place our faith in Jesus, His blood purifies us from all sin (1 John 1:7). His blood is sufficient to cleanse us fully and eternally. The story of the thief on the cross exemplifies the truth of spiritual baptism. Even though the thief was not water baptized, Jesus assured him that he would be with Him in paradise (Luke 23:39-43). This demonstrates that it is not the act of water baptism that saves us, but our faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. This inward transformation is the work of the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5). While baptism is significant, it should be viewed as an outward expression of the inward reality of salvation, which is rooted in faith alone.

Thank you for sharing your amazing testimony, you are a brave and courageous man! The enemy comes as an angel of light to kill, steal and destroy God’s people! Each one of us have been given a free will to choose right from wrong at any given moment, and these choices affect others, for good or bad! Every life matters and we are very much loved by our Heavenly Father, but He doesn’t condone sin! He cares for each one of us from the womb to the tomb, the body and spirit, but it’s the spirit that lives on for eternity, so please note that Jesus our Saviour, will be returning soon and we all will need to give an account of our lives: the thoughts, deeds, actions, words and motives done in the flesh, and who can stand before God? If you did not know, Jesus is our redeemer who came to save us from our fallen and sinful nature. If you don’t know Him yet and how He came to restore our relationship with God in heaven, who loves you and wants you to be reconciled to Him, I say to you today: Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no one comes unto the Father but by Him, Jesus is the only one mediator between God and man, and only God can forgive sins. What is sin? It is knowing the right thing to do and not doing it. Sin includes things like sexual immorality, addictions, drunkenness, drugs, watching porn, lying, stealing, unforgiveness, hate, anger, gossiping, and much more. These separate us from God, who is holy and righteous and just. He weighs the motives of our hearts and all of us have missed the mark. The call to salvation is for everyone. Regardless of your wealth, status, sexual orientation or religious background, Jesus invites you to turn from sin and accept His gift of salvation. No amount of money, social standing, or religious observance can save you. It’s not about comparing yourself to others; the only comparison that matters is with God, and we all fall short, we all have sinned. God doesn’t want our religion; He wants a relationship with us. Good works cannot save you; there is nothing you can do to earn salvation. It’s by grace alone, so no one can boast. Our works are like filthy rags to a holy God. The Bible says the wages of sin is death, eternal separation from God in hell-a fate you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. We are created with a God-shaped vacuum that nothing else can fill but Him. Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins on the Cross so we can be restored to God, our heavenly Father. There needed to be a sacrifice, and God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, who was sinless, to take our place. It’s like a mother giving away her new-born baby or you giving away your only child to pay someone else’s debt, someone who couldn’t care less about you or love you back. God was willing to do that for you and me. Jesus Christ was crucified, with nails driven through His hands and feet and a crown of thorns pressed onto His head. He was whipped until His skin was torn off, becoming unrecognizable. As He hung on that Cross, He did it for your sins. He took our sins upon Himself, including the very sins that have destroyed our lives. He was destroyed for those sins on that Cross. He bled and died for our sins, which were buried with Him in the grave. Three days later, Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. Jesus is alive! Now is the time to respond. Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” This declaration and belief bring salvation. John 3:36 warns, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” Embrace this good news today and pray: “Dear God, thank you for loving me. I confess that I have sinned against you. I believe that Jesus, Your Son, died on the cross to pay for my sins. I believe that Jesus was raised from the dead. I ask that you forgive all my sins. I confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Thank you for Your gift of eternal life! I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.” Remember, it’s not the prayer that saves you; it’s the heartfelt belief and confession, repentance and choosing to trust in Jesus for a righteous life, from now on. Now is the time for salvation. Turn from darkness to light, from sin to salvation, and follow Jesus. Ask God for forgiveness of the wrong things you have done, repent (turn from them) and leave your old sinful ways behind, and begin a new and righteous life trusting in Christ Jesus, every single day, ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit to help you, and read your Bible and obey it, repent to God daily, connect to God through prayer and ask the Holy Spirit for revelation, guidance, wisdom and discernment.

To all the gay kids, teens and adults who see this comment - we support you. In the world of the internet, extreme content such as this becomes commonplace. It can become hard to remember that there is a whole world of people who will love, support and cherish you. Often, hatred is disguised as "religion". People may say that it is against God, against nature, against humanity. But this isn't the purpose of a Religion. A Religion should bring people together, should form a community of people united under a common love for God. A Religion should not push people apart. Remember that it is not religion that is the issue here. The issue arises when people use religion to disguise their own hatred, their own unmanaged feelings, their own emotional imbalance. Remember that is is not religion. It is the person. People have a choice of what aspects of their religion they believe in. That's the reason there are so many branches of Christianity. If someone chooses to be homophobic - that is their choice. Do not let the guise of "religion" fool you. Religion is an amazing aspect of what makes humanity. Let's not abuse it. Praise God for your deliverance!!! I’m so grateful for testimonies such as yours because it gives me hope for my ex husband who left me for a homosexual lifestyle after 29 years of marriage, 4 kids, 6 grandkids, who I pray will never follow in his path and aren’t deceived by his actions. We raised our children to know Jesus, but he has walked away from him. I pray they will not go the way of their father but to go the way of our Holy Father. What did Paul say?? “for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬ If we doubt that people can be saved by calling on the name of the Lord it’s because we truly doubt in our heart the goodness of God. Faith in what Jesus Christ did on the cross for us saves us. Baptism, communion, and other good works are great things, but they cannot save you. We will be rewarded for the things we do in this life, whether good or bad (1 Cor. 3:10-14), but the issue of salvation is purely one of faith.

Leviticus 18 and 20 on the gay topic has the words in hebrew (ish for man and he is not to force himself on anyone on the bed of a woman. It uses only the word Shakab for forced ,and not shekobeth consentual. Deuteronomy 23:17 is linked to romans 1 on gay and hetero prostitution in ancient israel. this is a nice testimony and all and i wont try to dismiss your experiences but the truth is everyone has tried to be straight, myself included, and it doesnt work. No amount of giving your struggle to jesus and telling him you trust him with it and youll just keep follwing him, no amount of fasting, reading or prayer or getting closer to god ever works

Thank you for this. I identify 💯 with what is being said. I went through the exact same situation. I was abusing myself with alcohol. I hit a rock bottom . I cried out to the lord please help me. I have eight years of sobriety. I don't want any sexual connection with anyone. I feel free. No more pain.

Thank you Scott for your testimony... I know im way younger than you, but i know the Enemy will not compromise with age or generations. If he dare to attacked Jesus two thousands years ago he will continue to attack our generations to come. But our Lord is a conqueror and an over comer and we as his children believes that our Lord Jesus Christ paid it all on the Cross By his blood our sins are washed away. The devil attacked me as well when i was very young and made me feel that homosexual is OK its who i am, but Jesus saved me i know its tough to get rid of all the tendencies but if we will endure temptations with prayers and Bible reading God will always gives us a way to get out of it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. I may have to live with these temptations and tendencies till the end of my days on this earth, but in all these sufferings and tribulations i will call upon the name of the lord Jesus Christ and he will save me. #I have decided to follow Jesus, No turning back .
