I was a lukewarm Christian for years and 2013 had a stroke which lead to loss of taste {returned 3y later}, feeling anything and got partial seizures. For years my parents looked for doctors to help or get answers, but nothing worked, just got worse with pills and spent more money. Told my parents that spending money for no answer all for me, isn't needed and spend it on my brother instead.
I lost hope and started to think God is punishing me for my wrong doings or something (thought He's against me). High school was hard and could barely finish my exams/tests and felt useless/worthless , a nuisance and thought of ending it a few times (couldn't leave my brother kept me going).
Till end last when something changed and I realized that I'm at my lowest point and asked Jesus to please change my life so I don't feel this way anymore. I got up the next morning with an outlook for life, no more anxiety, not depressed and instead of 3-5 seizures a day to 1 every week. Then it got less till no more seizures and fully healed. I discovered that God didn't forget about me, but I continued to push Him away and when I 'cried out' He rescued me.
