Every person in the video has a different type to be honest bud- some of us like longer handles, some of us prefer shorter. Some prefer flat shovel head, others like slightly rounded. My particular shovel for shaping is the Bulldog Square mouth shovel 36''. Hope that helps!

@@RyhnoMight hello mate- we didn’t actually mark anything out on this build- all done by eye. I don’t think a tape measure came out at any point. I intend to plan the next build better and actually use a bit more science. Be interesting to see if it works!

@@greshampatrick we’re having to make our own mix as we go. The natural dirt isn’t actually that good so we’re mixing in some clay and some better dirt. Sets like concrete which is great… unless you want to change it 😂

@@justkeepdigging1956 do a “concrete mix” video. We have a lot of sand. The layers are as follows. Sand, mix, and deep into hole is clay.

@@trailjockeytj6160 thanks dude. Stoked you enjoyed the vid. The idea of building the bridge section was to have a chill point half way down. It’s surprising how much speed you can carry onto the bridge but it feels quite scary! Weird feeling to go uphill on a berm 🤣

That dude puts in more shovel time than anyone. If you're going to work that hard and shift that much dirt, you can ride whatever the hell you like 😝

@@LawrenceMacMacster thanks man. yeah I’ve had a few people say the video hasn’t popped up on their feeds. YT changes the rules a fair bit but I can see why there’s little point in pushing people my way as I make 2 videos a year 🤣👊🏻

Yep sorry mate I need a break after the build last year. Didn't want to see a shovel or a camera for a bit! We all work full time doing other jobs so finding time to build the trails, film it and make the videos can be difficult. Thanks for the support dude.

@@rootskywalker83 we’ve got about 15% of the build to go. On a push to get it done so it can be enjoyed before the weather turns. I’m hoping to persuade the guys to have a bit of a jam for the opening day.

@@timgrant3742 yeah for sure the next project needs to be doubles. Tables are such a waste of dirt and mean the lines will be destroyed twice as fast- but it does encourage progression which is what we want to do- break them in gently 🤣👍🏼
