Just back from Tunisia today. Enfidha airport yellow taxi drivers are scammers. They don't use taxi meters at all. They double charge to Hammamet. And some louage drivers are scamming too. Yesterday a louage driver in Enfidha charged me 10 TND for a ride and local woman who rode further than me just 2 TND.

I've always put a lot of effort into my work and I've always worked a lot. Unfortunately, this stereotype is not the only one that is false. Stereotypes do a lot of harm!

I've been living in France for a year and a half, and still moving cities and finding apartments when you don't have a CDI making 3x the rent is a major pain in ma ass! Never worked as hard as since living in France, but damn if the stereotype about being a pain in the ass with bureaucracy isn't the realest thing ever! :)

Hi, Jordan. It's so nice to see you back online. I dream of retiring in France. I realize that that's TWO major life changes at the same time, lol. I'm a music professor in Florida, but was an exchange student in Dijon as an undergraduate. Then, my doctoral dissertation was about French Baroque music. During Covid, I got serious about brushing up my French...so far, I've passed the B2 level through the Alliance Française in Miami (at the French consulate there). I'll be in Paris this summer for a month-long language study working on my C1 level. 2028 is the year I have on my calendar. Lots to decide about until then, but dreaming, reading, and watching terrific videos like yours are all part of the hobby of planning 🙂 I'll have to decide about a Visa...it sure would be nice to be able to take music or language teaching jobs once I'm there--I don't want to do nothing in retirement. But for those jobs, I know I'll have to have the appropriate Visa. Thanks so much for your videos!

I think if you wou come to a supermarket in Poland in your pajamas, they would look at you like you're meaby have some mental health problems, security would ask if you meaby need some help and watch if you wouldn't take something without paying, or they would tell you at the entrance that you should leave and come back clothed

i think you're wrong on some things, happy hours exist in the south of France, a beer is usualy 3€ to 3€50 without happy hour prices. We have way cheaper restaurants too, like "routiers" or village brasseries, where you can have a full menu (entrée+plat+dessert+coffee+wine) around 15€ to 20€. Provence is a region in the south east, "proviiince" is France without Paris. But don't get me wrong, i loved your video. You're very cute too.
