Hello Jordan, Happy New Year and thank you for this video.
I would like to retire in France within the next 3 years and was wondering if I could hire you to consult me sometime in February. I will be in France for a couple of weeks and will be looking to purchase a small pied-à-terre in Occitanie.
Please let me know if consulting with you is possible and what your consultation fees are. Thank you.

Hey! Thanks for your comment, that's so exciting! Occitanie is a very beautiful region in France, great choice!
Feel free to shoot me an email and we can discuss your retirement options further!

When you get set up in your new position, feel free to reach out! Been looking for the best way to begin that process in the next few months...if possible! Step by step help would be welcome as I'm sure it does appear that is can be a daunting process. Enjoy your videos!

Hey thanks for your comment! Most definitely I would be thrilled to work with you on finding an apartment or house in France depending on your preferences and criteria!
The housing market in France moves pretty fast, so ideally we can start looking around 6 weeks before you're planning on moving after you've started your visa process. Feel free to check out our website and shoot me an email whenever you're ready so we can start getting your ready for the big move!

Hey, Jordan! We’ve been following you for a while and had no idea you worked in logistics! We are American master’s degree students in France at the moment, and I (Jalen) am studying logistics and supply chain! I’m interested to know what exactly your role was and what you liked and disliked. Keep up the good work, ciao ciao!

Hey thanks for your comment! That's really cool that you're studying here and planning to stay by working after ! I was working in logistic analytics for a small wood distribution company in Limoges. Since it was a small company I had a lot of divers responsibilities..in charge of administrative tasks like client relations, invoicing, chiffres d'affaires etc, but I also was a business developer in the sense that I updated the systems at the office for a more efficient workflow, created and administrated the company website, and even designed a few protocol apps for our chauffeurs to use in order to keep in contact at all points of their work week.
The positive side about working in a small company was the flexibility because I had a good relation with my colleagues and was able to organize my breaks and time off decently well...the negative side was that after a year, I felt like there was little progression career wise because there was no position within the company to aspire to. It became less motivating when I felt a plateau professionally there because there was less room for growth. I ended up staying within the company longer (4.5 years total) because of the nationality process which amounted to 2 more years + I stayed an extra 6 months to organize my move back to Paris.
Voilà I hope that gave you a little more insight to my logistics journey at my latest long-term position. Good luck with the rest of your studies!

@@sebastiena.6792 why not? for some of us it is difficult to enjoy life in a country with coercive laws.

I think any president who's forced to make big decisions relating to health and safety of all citizens is put in a difficult decision and of course not everyone will agree with those implications, but c'est la vie...on s'adapte et on va reussir !
