I love new age but its tragically unpolished. much better systems then crafts and additions with the generators having progression with magnets and wires however some of the recipes are annoying with the best wires being out of diamonds while the worst are from copper which feels backwards. and while i love the heat system i really which rotation and electricity could produce heat as to make energy conversion make more sense. also the lack of energy storage outside of motors is very tragic especially with how interesting multiblock energy storage can be. lastly the motors feel lazy compared to how interesting the generators are. however despite all this new age still feels like a better mod as crafts and additions completes its tasks very simply without inspiring any interesting builds or systems aside from accumulators

I guess new age is low quality and the only thing like in it it’s the nuclear reactors but crafts and additions has tons of new features and has much more compact electricity and also new age ads blocks that too expensive but give almost nothing as out put

the trammel of archimedes is also called the do nothing machine because for anything other than tracing one cool shape, it is completely useless

9:33 it's because the rotation is relative to previous bearing, not to you. If you were spinning like the previous bearing, all would have same speed

my motors are broken, when I run power to them, they do nothing. first time looking into this mod and I don't know if I have some sort of setting that i have to change but its been 3h of trying to look up videos and just trying to power this thing. doesn't power with 6 power, 18 power or even 102.

i personally dont think the amount of resources needed for high tier new age stuff is all that obscene, cause youre already using create so making a drilling maching to go mine you some netherite and diamonds isnt that hard
