Non adhesive static cling window film does not have self adhesive. It is applied on the window with static cling. And static cling can be used by either water only or water with liquid soap.

If you want to install both, please install Clear Security Film on the window first. Because security function can be obtained by installing it directly on window surface by its self adhesive. To get nice looking with proper performance, you may need to wait to dry completely more than 2 weeks after installation of security film. And then install frosted film on top of the Security film.

Yes, this is for adhesive window film.

@@BDFBuyDecorativeFilm some films are electrostactic and others have glue. Is the application the same? Does the glue look weird after applied?

You have to make one end longer. So make one piece of tape side ways on bottom and top piece do up and down leave a piece just a little longer so you can grab it and also press down the layer comes right off

@@BDFBuyDecorativeFilm Ok looking into it, I cannot use the NC35 because I have dual pane windows. I am interested in the NA35 and the S35. I can't really tell the privacy capabilities from the stock photos. Is there a way I can pay to get small samples from these two (NA35 and the S35)? Or do I just buy both and return the one I don't like? Thank you again.

S35 is mirror finish and the NA35 is a black finish?

Some window films are not suitable for dual pane/insulated windows because of possible stress on the window caused by the high heat absorption rate. Heat does not necessarily break the glass, but it can add stress on the glass. BDF 8Mil Security films(S8MC & S8MB series) can be applied on the inside of double pane windows. Our security film is made for the application on the interior side of window, not for exterior. We hope this helps you.

If the release liner is taken off and adhesive side is installed on the window properly, it will not be dropped off.

With any window film, it is important that the soapy solution used during installation should be properly squeezed out with the squeegee once the film is up on the window. If there is soapy water left over between the film and the window, the moisture can interfere with the adhesive and cause bubbles to form soon afterwards, even if it was not apparent on the day of installation. Bubbles can happen with any film, but they can pose a problem particularly for security films, due to the increased thickness that makes it harder to squeeze out the water. This necessitates applying more pressure with the squeegee than for thinner films. A suggested tip is to first spray some soapy water on top of the film after it is on the window, before you apply the squeegee. This can help the squeegee glide over the film more easily. Note that the felt or tape side of the squeegee would ordinarily be used for this process; the other plastic or rubber side can be used when precision is needed, such as corners. Bubbles should be prevented in advance. Unlike cloudiness or streaks, bubbles would likely not disappear once they form, unless they are small enough (those about 1/8 inch or less in diameter can disappear as the film dries). If there are bubbles in a few specific spots, you can use a needle to poke the bubbles and let the air out from the gap, helping that spot stick. However, for security films, this can weaken these spots.

Window film is not designed to use on the exterior of car, but to use on interior window of car. If you want to wrap your car, you need to use either wrapping film or paint protection film.
