This guy is such a hero!!! Litterally the single most helpful channel for sound production in soundtrap. But if I am honest. I do use ableton fruity loops and logic and his videos are still super transferable 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 you my hero guy!!!!

I always have a "burner Project" open in another tab, so if I need to change the bpm a sample I can just map it to the bpm there, and then change it to the desired bpm, and export and put it in the main project.

when in the based software all i hear is drums thumping and no other change intrument

I am a singer songwriter who cant audio engineer for shit, I even took a tertiary class for a year to learn and that was shit, I dont know how many youtube videos I've watched (original learned garage band, to logic pro and ableton) and I just didnt understand why my mixes sound trash. trying soundtrap been a week now and I'm not kidding - just doing what I normally do and its the best mix I've ever had. But I need to understand what I'm doing to get better rather than let soundtrap do all the work lol. I found this guy and OMG! thank you soooooo much for speaking lamen terms to my dumb ass.... I so cant wait to apply all of what I'm learning in this vid. So super excited to complete a track the way I want it to sound and hopefully get onto spotify. You da man!!!!!

Thanks for the info- I thought my new keyboard was broken. I turned that annoying blinking light off on my M-Audio Oxygen Pro Mini- but then the arpeggiator didn't work. To find this internal-external setting on that controller hold down the tempo button and the setting will come up on the lcd screen on the keyboard. Then use the knob to scroll through and select.

This thing is trash it works for 10 min then wont loop and cant find the MIDI. Developers are Special obviously.

Help please ! I recently got an AKAI MPK Mini III. I went through all the required steps to set it up but unfortunately my arpeggiator still doesn't work properly. When it's on, only the pads work but the keys don't have any function at all. I changed the arpeggiator to external by using the Mini Editor as you recommended but the keys are still dysfunctional. By the way, I'm currently using Hybrid 3 not the Ableton or some other tools, just so you know. When I try to record something the program doesn't sync the notes and metronome count automatically and all I hear is off sounds & beats. How can I fix this major issue up ? Thanks in advance

I'm following right along with you after installing the Melda products and going into a Audacity after adding the vocal clip and clicking on managing plug-ins I don't see any of these new Melda plug-ins that I just installed so I'm kind of confused in where they are any help would be greatly appreciated. I find this all kind of confusing obviously in the beginning, but I deeply appreciate any details you can help me with.

Having the attack cranked up helps the compression on vocals a ton (specifically in Soundtrap) it would seem a bit high on any other daw

The drum mixing and bass mixing videos I've actually used on a lot of stuff recently, but this is not how I'd mix vocals at all. I just don't like the way you mixed it.

Can this be done with Garageband? I can't find anywhere in settings on GB to send information to the midi controller. Shit just aint workin'
