I trim my hair 2 times a year. And by trim I mean dusting the ends. That's it.

I have super fine 4a/4b hair low to medium dense. Since I lather my hair in butters, trim my ends every time I do a protective style. My once thin low dense hair is super full and strong and I think my porosity is changing from high to medium.

Please STOP WITH THE LIES . Your hair may become stronger but there is NO PRODUCT known to man that will increase your hair follicles. No product will make thin fine hair turn to thick hair. Yes with better hair care you can reduce breakage and have full strands but the miracle you are selling is impossible. If not then please show me a fine haired with low density person grow to become a fine or thick strand with super density such as this model. By all means sell your product but please stop selling your lies. People save your coins and purchase from companies who are not attempting to sell miracles just reasonable and attainable healthy hair practices. Miche Beauty, Camille Rose, Pattern Beauty ect all sell amazing products with truth and integrity!

My 10-year-old's hair gets super tangled (it's waist-length, really dense but fine) - and she's extremely tenderheaded. And, sadly, I hate to hear her cry and I don't want every hair experience to be painful and traumatic so I don't do her hair as often as I should (which does not help). I'm ordering these two products in hopes that it will help our wash day process. *fingers crossed*

Gentle finger detangling and removing shed hair with misted water and conditioner is a GAMECHANGER with length retention! 2nd GAMECHANGER up is trimming or dusting damaged split trimming ends 3 months. 3rd GAMECHANGER frequently hydrating and sealing ends with leaving conditioner oil and flaxseed gel.

I haven’t done wash day yet.

Protective styles are buns, cornrows, plaits and twists. Wearing your hair in a fro everyday may make it dry and brittle if you have 4c hair.

Trim as needed but if your hair is a damaged mess you might need to cut more than average. Take good care of your hair

The main thing is the hair is older on the ends. And sometimes what was working before no longer works at the longer lengths. Looking forward to your journey and thank you for sharing.

Protective to me is leaving my hair ALONE between washes, and being able to wash often. For me that’s rollersets (wash every 1-2 weeks) and mini twists (wash every 2-4 weeks)…and also styles that don’t cause any breakage. I loved braids, sew ins, and etc….but those just kept me from having to style my hair, they weren’t protective (retain length and density…)

I always say that you're in a partnership with your hair. You can't be the only one happy in the partnership. Your hair communicates with you. You just gotta listen to her when she speaks

Try cornrows but make sure to deep condition every time you re-braid

You so gorgeous girl! This is also my resolution, I did a BIG chop and kept braids in for almost 2 years. My hair hasnt yet got back to my ideal length but who cares I want to play with my hair now.
