@@Natt_piano It can make playing a lot easier especially with console pianos like this one where the cabinet is thick and muffles the clarity ;) Not to mention it's fun to watch the action :D

I took your comment to heart about the tempo and in addition with my own experience + skills growing, I learned how to execute this rag better, and I surely did so! I love how you always recognize pattern similarities across Joplin's works; I'll have to listen, I don't think I caught the idea similarity from the other rags! It must be a less obvious one than the similarities between MLR & Sugarcane Rag.

Good morning! Yes, a happy piece on this happy Friday! 😃 Ahh yes I was smiling a bit throughout because this rag really makes me cheerful when playing! Ha, I like the play on words you wrote, I wonder what the "something" was doing, too 😂 Yes, this is the video I was referring to - I did not necessarily goof up, but rather my brain froze near the end and my left hand did not hit the note but my right hand did, hard to explain 😆 There was just a very brief moment of silence, that's the "mistake" I was referring to. But I am glad your rag withdrawals have been quenched until the next upload! Happy Labor Day, and stay cool as well on this upcoming weekend! 😎🍻
