You need to let yourself feel your SAD. This happens every season for me. Please do things that you actively enjoy but have structured routine. Thay active routine will help you feel normal for when you spend a week doing nothing.

First and foremost, take care of YOU. That's what's important and I think even though you feel crumby at the moment, it's a beautiful thing that you have the self awareness to recognize what's happening even if you don't know the "why". Sometimes there is no reason why, it's just brain chemistry gone awry, a hormone out of whack, and sometimes there's a good reason. Either way, I hope you're healing and doing well and know that you're not alone. (I've been battling what I like to call the Funky Ass Funk, myself for a few weeks. Sisters with depression and anxiety, unite!)

Here to say that Virginia is a southern state (as someone who lives here), but Northern Virginia (think DC suburbs and surrounding areas) are largely considered a world all its own and not southern lol

Your mental health comes first and the fact you can admit you need help and are actively seeking it out means you’ve jumped over one of the hardest hurdles when it comes to depression. Take as much time as you need to get better, it can be hard to process stuff so don’t feel pressured to create content, you getting better takes priority!

All i want is for you to take care of yourself! Above it being hard to put out content when you aren't feeling well, you are still a person! Am I foaming at the motih for more content? Yes. But not at the cost of your wellbeing. We will be here when you get back. Ill just have to keep rewatching your other videos! Im in the depression loop as well and it helps me feel less alone to know that someone as cool and awesome as you also feels the same thing. What I’ve learned is, the solution is simple, even though it doesn’t feel simple. Some have a tendency to get stuck in our heads, all we really have to do is to start with action to get out of our heads. I’m currently in a rut myself, and it always seems to follow an accomplishment. Maybe I’m guilty of resting on my laurels, rather than planning the next step. Maybe this conversation is therapy for myself. What’s even more crazy is being aware and still not taking action without enough suffering.

Do what you need to do, girl! As a chronic pain sufferer, I know what a huge victory it is just to get through the day. We love you even when the camera's not rolling!
