Столярка и термичка классно показанна
I enjoyed your video i like your technique on making tongs it looked a lot more simple than other video's on making them well done.
Hola,el bisel esta hecho de un solo lado?
The best work
After one shot that arrowhead wil break the arrow
Nice
Wtf did you do to that cat???
Awesome work. Beautiful knife.
Nice that you even forged the edge. Many at least on youtube videos just grind it!
5:37 honey your spear is ready come to dinner
Would you make me and Ian being very serious?
Comrade, this is not "Yakut, believe me." Yakut knives are sharp-nosed, almost like a needle. And the sharpening angle is straight in the original, not with a lens.
Eu quero comprar uma dessa alguém sabe me disse
It's way cheaper to just buy a head and arrow. The tools alone plus wear and tear on them isn't economic unless you're making videos for profit
La dague est magnifique ! Combien de temps pour frapper le pommeau avec le marteau ?
Really nice job I miss my forge.
Соплесос😂
That's really awesome !!!
thank you brother :D!
I know it's late, but how about getting some Hardy tools? It will prevent unnecessary marks on the anvil. Otherwise, great job, a swiss dagger. On the other hand, how about a blacksmith's apron? This is said by someone who at some point had his clothes catch fire. I hope I have translated it well, English is not my native language.
sounds like a good idea , i also had clothes Catch fire before , so an apron would also be a good idea :D! and i am happy you like the dagger brother :D! and you translated the message beautifully :D!
very good artist
thank you brother :D

instead of adding a 2nd blade to the hack saw to cut the nocks, go to your hardware store and buy a round "tile cutting" blade that fits on the hack saw...nearly PERFECT size for cutting nocks...
thank you for the tip brother :D!
Nice! Where in the world are you?
Very cool Great forging .
thank you brother :D
Cool :) Somebody with more holes in their clothes than me haha :) Look up - timber hitch / bowyers knot for the proper knot on your lower nock. Maybe round your backs edges a bit more and to improve the performance of elm and most whitewoods look up heat treating.
WANDERFUL
thank you brother :D
I often post comments online where I say how much I wish I could forge things like this by hand at home. Sadly afterward I often find myself having to apologies to some random online stranger that before saying such things I didn't first ask them if there is something going on in my life to make doing such activity more difficult.
Online people are weirdos. If I'm reading your comment correctly, you don't need to apologize. It would be awesome if you could craft things from your heart at home. If it's not in the cards, thats tough. There are a lot of things that are not in my life's cards either. Including running a forge. Good luck to you. Peace be on you.

@@zakisworkshop Thanks a lot!
@@rickylahey3229 your welcome brother :D!
wonderful hand work
thank you brother :D!
It looks good but the spear is going to be much stronger if the socket sits on the outside rather than on a grade cut into the shaft. Have you tried making a socket by punching a hole into steel instead of rolling it into shape? I recall another blacksmith doing that and it looked pretty clean
like
thank you brother :D!
very nice and simple thank you so much it really is a great tutorial. I started blacksmithing last year, didnt have any tongs or a forge so started on smaller stock, like tiny stock, practicing cold forging, andsometimes using mapp gas with a couple of bricks made some small tongs and other things, tongs i made using the old school technique you know, jaws first then turn and boss and then turn and reigns. had just build my forge the other day but got a sledgehammer head for an anvil, on a tree stump, started making proper tongs yesterday, from 1cm by 1cm square stock, going ok but hard work on a sledgehammer head. i made the first tong but now i see this video, i may go out and get me a flat bar like yours and do what you did, drawing out the reigns will be fun and good practice too, and dont need tongs to do it, so that will get me a nice set of tongs using your technique and then i can make the second tong the old school way. what size stock are you using is that 3/4 inch by 3/8 inch?
Nice! What are those scales falling out when hammering? I mean, the bar was already industry forged so I guess of good (homogenous) quality. The flakes are from metal oversaturated in carbon from the coals in the forge, and become brittle because of that? In fact, I am wondering if in traditional forging, hammering is a purifying process, removing impurities by repeated shocks breaking away links not strong or homogenous enough?
Efective for hand to hand combat great work yhe length just the right size..
thank you brother , i am happy you like it :D!
Mild steel or leaf spring?
spring steel brother :D!
How much
send me and email at zaki.workshop@gmail.com if you are interested in buying brother :D!
getting good at this requires a lot of patience. something i dont have in abundance. great work.
it sure does :D, thank you i am happy you like it brother :D
You can get decent at blacksmithing in about 3 or 4 sessions if you're the type of person that learns quickly. One thing I found helped was coming from a background of "cold forging" and sheet metal work. It helps to get a better understanding for how the metal moves when you've done it cold, because that's basically just blacksmithing in slow motion.
very nice video, you should have that listed on your website for sale as well!! Cheers!
thank you brother :D! i am happy you like it , maybe i will make some for sale in the future, but this one was just for me :D!
