Cool :) Somebody with more holes in their clothes than me haha :) Look up - timber hitch / bowyers knot for the proper knot on your lower nock. Maybe round your backs edges a bit more and to improve the performance of elm and most whitewoods look up heat treating.
Consider using much shorter long string. The shorter long string will more closely replicate bending forces when it is braced. Good luck with your projects!
I am curious about the paint and how you mixed it. I am guessing you used an oil of some type. Also I would be interested in knowing what you covered or sealed it with after applying the paint. Excellent job. Thank you for your time.
..Outstanding work sir! If i may, what type of wood did you use? The bark looks sort of like something we have around here, Flat Bark Willow. The paint is Great...!

thank you sir :D! the stave is from an elm tree i felled a couple years ago :D! and thank you agian :D!
how long did it take to season the wood and to craft the bow and can I make it using freshly cut wood
hello brother , this stave was seasoned for 3 years :D! no you would have to season the stave for at least a year :D!
I made one in two weeks without seasoning it. It helps if you fire the bow
