This is the second part of the video released in June where the ultimate goal was to start and test this alfa romeo 33 imola. In this video there is the whole part of restoring the mechanics, brake system, oil, ignition etc. The test drive I performed will not be very long considering that I did not replace the tires and could not check all the parts of the car, such as the distribution and the various rubber hoses. In any case, my purpose has been achieved, which is to demonstrate how a car in poor condition and stationary for several ...

The Ancestor of the Electric Bike - a Conservative Restoration
This engine was marketed after the Second World War to offer ordinary people the possibility of moving around, using it together with a simple bicycle. In the video, in addition to the restoration process, I will briefly delve into the history of these engines, illustrating the reasons for their birth and the context in which they emerged. While I will be restoring this engine, I will not be fo...
Can a Radio Rewind Time? Picnic Radio Restoration
The radio belongs to my grandmother. I found it among her belongings in the basement, and when I asked her who it belonged to, she replied saying it was a gift from my grandfather, her husband, and that they used to take it with them when they went on picnics. My grandfather is no longer with us, and my grandmother was very upset about the condition the radio was in. Without saying anything, I ...

Flashlight Restoration for a Bike from 1950
Flashlight Restoration for a Bike from 1950 This old flashlight, probably from the 1950s, was produced by Trehawk, and doing some research, it appears that the company is very old and also produced flashlights used during WW2. The video flashlight is a model that can be used on the bike but also as a portable flashlight, since it uses a battery inside and not the dynamo of the bike to turn on. ...

Sei italiano?
oh no! Anyway...
Pelo que vejo ele está rateando!!
The noise you hear is because the oil hadn’t yet reached the lifters. Shortly after, the oil reached them, the noise stopped, and the engine started running smoothly on all four cylinders
it’s not a stellantis 😂
❤️
Ne ho una in garage, unico proprietario. Se qualcuno è interessato mi contatti
Tolles Video und gute Aufnahmen!
Thank you!
Bravooooo Bella fiat......
COSA SERVE FARLA PARTIRE ? DOVEVI RESTAURARLA ,TIRANDOLA A NUOVO.
It was a machine that should NEVER be built and designed! Other than that 30 years later it still works...or less. It has always been horrible, Alfa Romeos were great cars before the Second World War until the sixties... then only sadness
Yes, of course, it can't be compared to the old Alfas from the '60s and earlier, but I still think it’s a fun and unique car for its time. And after 30 years, it managed to start up again, leaving aside the rust-which is mainly due to the fact that the car is near a coastal area
33 1.5 QV i 33 1.7 8v, au kako su išle, a zvuk fenomenalan!
No money was spent when powderind this rotten corpse😅 guess you got the content and now you can drive it to the junk yard.. or down a cliff?🤔
i would not restore it, just not worth it...
A man after my own heart. It doesn’t matter the cars age a professional with a passion for automotive engineering will always bring it back to life. It deserves it, you’ve a great workshop and I e learnt a few tricks from this video, the piston removal on the rear drum and the application of heat to the faded bumpers. ❤ very nice work indeed
Thank you! ❤️
Ano po nilagay sa bag
In the bag, there are some tools, like a screwdriver and a few wrenches
23:30 Doesn't he hear the fuel pump cannot initially deliver enough fuel or build up pressure......,?
Yes, the fuel pump was very noisy, but it was able to provide the right pressure for starting and during the road test
Elle ressemble Simca 1000
Entrega na sucata.
Lovely car
Crepi!
The previous version of 33 was a total shame and disaster of a car. Melted like sugar after any rain.
Wow...remind me of the 33 I use to own
It's not a spark plug issue; the problem was that the oil hadn't reached the lifters yet. Once it did, the engine ran fine
Ora la puoi buttare.
Alfa 33 … my first love 😍😍😍😍
❤️
This is the perfect car repair video for me. And not only because it features a vintage Alfa, but because of the filming and editing. This guy understands that the car is the star, so he stays out of the video... too many RUclipsrs are 'Hey guys, it's all about me, me, me, it's all about ME' - but not this guy. There is also no hand-held jerky camerawork, the camera is set down. And the editing is perfect too, showing us only the very crucial and interesting parts, speeding up when necessary and moving the progress along nicely. THIS is how it should be done. Liked & subscribed.
Thank you so much for the compliments! I really appreciate it. I'm glad you noticed these details while watching the video, as that's exactly my goal: to make the car or the object in the video the true star, without music or voiceover. For anyone wanting more information, they just need to turn on subtitles; otherwise, it's only natural sounds
@Ego.Reficio Assurdo 😅
Cant you talk

What did you use on rear brakes drums that it turn black? Phosphoric acid? Great stuff you did. I like people who repair stuff, not just buy new. 👏
Not a word spoken...SPLENDIDO, and the tension at the end...priceless :-)
Thank you! ❤️
C’mon ALFA🍀🤍💔 Nice armygreen Squadra Corse overalls too😎🔝
The restart of the engine was terrific ! I owned the 33 1.7 IE, amazing car👍 Thank you
The noise you hear at startup is not a connecting rod or connecting rod bearing; it’s the oil that hadn't yet reached the hydraulic lifters. Once the oil got to them, the engine started running smoothly
Wow its takes not only great skills but also passion to do such a restore. I guess the Alfa says grazie mille👍
Thank you!
