      @latularu NYC is a unique city that is why many people think that way. For example whenever there is a crime mentioned in the Bronx or Brooklyn people would mention DA Alvin Bragg. I have to tell them that DA Bragg is the DA of New York county which is Manhattan but we have four other DAs who represent the other counties. The thing that makes NYC unique is that it is made up of counties unlike other parts of the US. Take Nassau County, for example, it's made up of different cities and townships like Garden City. New Hyde Park, Levittown, Glencoe, etc. All of those belong in one county. Like Los Angeles County contains Los Angeles City, it also contains Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica. all cities within Los Angeles County. If Los Angeles County were like Brooklyn or Queens it would be the biggest city in the United States. At one time Manhattan just about stood alone as it's city. Brooklyn used to be made up of different cities. The Bronx used to be part of West Chester County.

    • @justinmartineznyc
      @justinmartineznyc 5 дней назад

      @@krysie_rose For townhouses and condos, you can put as little as 10% or even lower down 3.5%. I bought my first property for 3.5% down with an FHA loan. Banks mainly look at your debt-to-income ratio, followed by credit. The banks want to see that you have below a 50% debt-to-income ratio. EX: if you make $10,000 per month, they don't want to see your debt more than $5000 per month with the new mortgage, taxes, property insurance, and monthly HOAs. Please let me know if that makes sense :)

    • @krysie_rose
      @krysie_rose 4 дня назад

      @@justinmartineznyc yes, I was considering FHA but it seems like everyone in this area is putting down 20 percent, maybe due to competitive market, so I thought I may need to go to the outskirts/suburbs to see more FHA options versus conventional loans. It’s encouraging to hear that you started with an FHA loan. I’m aiming to put down 10 percent to try to avoid PMI, but have to consider all the expenses you mentioned, such as closing costs, etc. Thanks so much! Your video was helpful and informative!
