The Bronx for me! My dad was from the Bronx. He lived in a 5 story apartment building with an elevator. My dad was born in 1926 when the Bronx was an awesome place.
I liked the Bronx one too, but the commute was further from the Brooklyn one. Thanks for watching!
You guys make a nice team, & your vibe is natural & friendly & relaxed, way nicer than all those highly professional 3 million views videos, in real life when a person visits an apartment that’s exactly what they get you show real life content thanks guys keep going hopefully soon we will be visiting & buying through you guys
Thanks! I appreciate you saying that! That's the vibe we are going for. Thanks for watching.
The Bronx; large space with your own private backyard, proximity to expressways, upstate NY, GW, Manhattan, private enclosed garage, no monthly maintenance fees, no nosy boards telling you what to do in your space. The only one that is a maybe is SI but with that commute you're better off living in another planet.
Thanks for watching! I was very close to picking the Bronx one. TBH, it's the most underrated one.
The first unit in Brooklyn was my favorite. Move in ready is my preference. Great video, thanks for sharing.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
I grew up in this type of house in SI. We all essentially had the same house and our parents paid off their mortgages with the tenant rent. The cheap condos being built all over the island have killed the SI feel.
The Bronx ❤
The apartment for 1 million in Manhattan for over 1.300 sq. feet seems like a good deal but the maintainence charges of over $3,700 a month is my biggest concern. Thanks for sharing. Interesting.
Thanks for watching. That was the biggest challenge selling this apartment. The only good thing about the maintenance was that it included all utilities and was 30% tax deductible.
@@justinmartineznycI don’t understand why you need to pay maintenance? Are there any more services ?
@@hispantrapmusic301 It's a classic American scam. People over there are oblivious to how utterly fucking rekt they're getting lol.
@@hispantrapmusic301 taxes are higher in Manhattan and you are paying for a doorman, upkeep, the garden, etc.
@@Idamaehoy so? 3.7k? Zero sense 🤣🤣🤣
Manhattan
Thanks for watching!
Manhattan - out of these options.
I am in contract to sell my Sag Harbor house and was just casually pondering Manhattan listings to see if I should upgrade. I have come to the conclusion that I need to get outta NYC. It is really sad what you get here versus what you would get in, say, Philly or DC for the money. I've been in Manhattan for 25 years and it has just been slowly declining for the past 10 years while everything has gotten vastly more expensive and crowded. It's just not the city that I fell in love with way back when...
Congrats on your sell! What is your budget and criteria for the home?
When seeing this I have a new appreciation for our 2500 sq ft. home on a one third acre lot in the pacific n.w. surrounded by natural woodlands, peace and quiet and only a short drive to a well developed metro area. For half the price. People living in areas such as this video live like mice in a maze one on top of the other, going from point A to point B ignorant of a real quality of life.
Where do you live? I disagree. The NYC real estate market is very diverse compared to other major cities. New York State has very suburban areas. I should cover that in a future video.
Also, beware of the parking lot bait and switch. They will say there’s a parking lot available to purchase which actually makes you want to live there even more but once you move in you’ll find out that you cannot get the parking lot because they are actually only giving them to people who are willing to pay triple and not even in the building so beware of that and always do your research into the company you’re looking at
Definitely the town house for me.
Which one?
Just saying u make me dizzy who is doing the filming😂
The Staten Island home must have a typo cause dam $8,569 tax per month no way what they smoking 😂 over $102,000 per year in just taxes you can keep it.
Yes, it's a typo. Sorry. It's $8569 per year/ $714 per month
Definitely Astoria or Riverdale, which by the way is almost not really the Bronx. Forget about Manhattan... looking into an airshaft and $3700 a month maintenance??? No laundry in your own apartment??? You must really want to live in Manhattan to put up with that. Not a fan of most of Brooklyn, especially that deep in. Staten Island, unless you are somewhere near beautiful Snug Harbor is probably mind-numbingly boring.
Bronx
Thanks for watching?
The Brooklyn place is the nicest and seems to be the best value for your money. I think I would go with that one. It's pretty much like a house, and I love that it has two separate outdoor spaces that are pretty private, and everything is new.
Thanks for watching! I totally agree! I liked the location of the Manhattan one, and that's why I was torn between the two.
@@justinmartineznycYou're welcome! I agree! Manhattan would be my second choice. I would prefer to live in Manhattan in that location as well. If the Brooklyn place can be in the same location in Manhattan for that price then it would be perfect! LOL I also can't stomach not having laundry in the unit at that price point in Manhattan.
In the Bronx, you may as well be in Jersey City
Ppl from riverdale like to pretend they don’t live in the Bronx. They’d never say I live in the da bx. I live in riverdale. Good luck getting home to riverdale with all that traffic! 😂
Brooklyn
Thanks for watching!
I've got a place in Bensonhurst but mostly I live in Garden City out in Nassau County. There's no reason to live in NYC anymore. Actually, if I had any sense I'd move out of NYS altogether.
Never fall for the new construction. Those covers in the elevator will be there till you die.
1,000,000 in Philly gives you soooo much more
I need to go on a tour of Philly :)
How did you just walk past that toilet? Is that normal there to just have a toilet put in the open?
Are you referring to the Staten island listing?
Bronx. That toilet next to the garage
@@Angel-810 No that's not normal. I think the seller is just storing in the basement since they replaced it with another one.
@@Angel-810 I'm not sure if this is the case here, but a lot of older buildings had/have a toilet and a washbasin or even a small shower in the basement or laundry area. The idea was that Dad would come home from work, working in a factory...meat plant...etc. so he could get rid of his dirty working attire and freshen up before entering the main living area.
You need a better camera lense by the way. The properties weren't shot nicely. You could barely see the whole rooms, bad angles.
You havent say anything about the maintenance fees. Oh sorry you did. By the way the prices arent that bad. With a big down payment ,not bad.
Thanks for watching! Typically buyers put down 20%.
@@justinmartineznyc I mean about 80%
Why you gonna show a $ 1.3 mil house when the title says for $ 1 mil? I know you wanna show and sell but this is misleading.
Thanks for watching. I did say that before I toured the space lol
Yo don't call my borough the forgotten borough. That's disrespect..
Sorry bro! lol Thanks for watching ! 🙏
Is this supposed to be nice looking? Manhattan and queens definitely have something nicer than that
1st brooklyn one was nice
100000 get you Nothing
They all looked shite to me lol.
