I also loved the scene in 'Chirp' where Manny is upset with Jay because one of Jay's workers crashed the forklift with Manny in it and got fired, and Jay said "You can give me the cold shoulder for the rest of your life, but Jack's not coming back. in terms of Boomers, Jay is actually a good dad. Back then he went from dirty poor to a wealthy man all by himself. When you had to live paycheck by paycheck, it's hard for you to look into things and have sympathy or something. He seems conservative but at some point he ends up compromising and making it up to the family. His character development from season 1 to 11 is really something worth binge-watching
