Mathurin is still learning to play in the Pacers system. I also think he's picked up his defense. He has some lapses every so often but I think he's much improved from last year. I still think you need players on the team that can get their own shots.

This team is getting back to playing well. They'll find consistency. Next year feels like it could be a big year for us. Walker, nembhard, Shepp and Mathurin could take us to become contenders. Question is, the center position. And If Ty can stay healthy and grow his game. And his strength.

The only thing i keep coming back to is they quit playing hard. They got a big lead, then just lost that edge. As a whole, the pieces we have cant consistantly perform at the level ot takes to win at a high level. And most of that is Tyrese fucking Haliburton not being a threat this year. He allows the defenses to put a blanket on him. He gets stopped. And then he quits driving. Then he looks pissed. Then he acts like a soft ass. Thats what it is and there is no arguing that fact. We have a MAXXX player that is not putting the hard games on his back. Ill quit bitching now, because it doesnt help. But geesh .

Ty was doing well in the first half. He kept attacking the paint, and it generated points, even though he wasn't the one scoring them. They DID have a 19-point lead at one point. Milwaukee did a really good job at defending the paint. The Pacers defense was pretty solid this game. Not the best in the league, but solid. The real problem was the offense falling apart. That 19-3 run wasn't the Bucks scoring at will, but the Pacers just failing to score, possession after possession.

I'd like a discussion of whether this front office should decide to continue to go all in by adding proven veterans ala Celtics by trading draft capital years from now OR, continue to build and develop from within OR, blow it up? There's always 3 roads for a Franchise. I'm curious where people think we are or which direction we go? I always believe in professional sports, you are your record.

I don’t have a problem with loss. The Pacers played hard. They just hit a long dry spell. That happens in the NBA.

Andrew Nembhard at his young age is somehow the best offense/defense combo player on the team by a long shot. I would concur he can be called the 3rd best player on the team as of now. If Myles can get to 9+ rebounds a game like his size should suggest- which I don't think he ever has- I'd give it to him at his points and blocks rate. I think a strong case is to be made the Haliburton/Nembhard could be a top 5 to 7 backcourt in the NBA for YEARS to come, flirting with top 3, as their youth and upside and contracts are on our side. Because not for brute strength or athleticism, but because they are CRAFTY in their own ways, and that should spell longevity.

This is the first time this entire year that I've seen the Pacers truly play offense like they did last year. Half of their points were in the paint. The rest were mostly open 3s and middies from the guys that were hot. That's exactly the recipe that has worked. They played fast. But they were also able to create holes to drive when the game got bogged down. Their defense was locked in, too. Overall, I think this is the Pacers we were all expecting to see this season. Same aggressive, fast-paced offense, but better defense, rebounding, and other positional stuff.

Haliburton looked really close to All NBA self tonight. Still think it's time to move from Turner as well tho before we lose him for nothing. I'd like to pair him with maybe Shep and picks and go for another star. Thomas Bryant a minimum player has more of a motor then Myles and can rebound as good or better then him. The sooner we pull the trigger the more value he should bring since a team will get him a little longer. Truthfully not a hater and appreciate Myles for his time as a Pacer but I'm ready for a high motor rebound chasing center
