When I see other good rebounding teams, it is always a team effort, which means there gotta be someone boxing out people. Usually these people get the dirty work done and others grab the rebound. I do not see this in Pacers, no one is doing the “dirty work”.

We need mark jackson for coach I think he will have haliburton on another level

I like this idea but I think he's blackballed from the league.
A wild card Id be into putting on the staff is Baron Davis. High IQ guy and I think he wants to get his feet wet with coaching. His mentality would impact the locker room.
Imagine that Mark Jackson as head coach with BD on the staff. They would get Hali all the way right.

I'll be real, Myles Turner has to a dive defensely also the backup big position has really fucked us. Ive been saying this for a awhile, but a trade for nic claxton and finny smith. Im not sure what the package would look like.

The only good plays are after Time Outs everything else looks random and the kick outs to the 3 pt line to throw the D into swing rotation rarely works and eventually someone has to drive to the paint and hope for a foul which almost never happens before the clock violation

they are also trying to prevent Tyrese from getting the inbound pass after a score too. force Benn or someone else to bring it up:

The scheme I see this team playing on defense is bad. You will see a shot go up and all of our players will start heading to the defensive end of the floor. Not one person crashes the boards. You will see 3-4 other jerseys near the paint hunting the ball, and not one pacers player hunting for a loose ball. Go back to the old school defense. Send 2-3 guys to the rebound every single shot. Dont leak out every single time....

If the Pacers can't stop Barnes, Poetl and RJ ... just imagine when they also have Gradey and IQ.

Raptors were missing, Grady D, IQ, Kelly Olynyk, Bruce Brown and the Raptors are playing four rookies.... Pacer's defense is suspect and the offense is not as good as last year. Toronto was a 6-15 team, but had the toughest starting schedule in the NBA to start the year for the first twenty games, while dealing with half of the rotation injured and playing 4 rookies for the first twenty games.

NBA has changed to an aggressive physical style of play, Pacers have to adapt and get more 2-ways players and play with force. Only the franchise player Haliburton can get away with not being a 2-way player. Current 2-way players are Siakam, McConnell, Nesmith(injured) , Nemby (injured), Jackson(injured). Mathurin learning... Pacers need to add a top defensive coach on its roster, to assist Carlisle who is an offensive coach to help this young team....Shout out my fave #43VER🇨🇦 #YesCers

All facts here. Pacers got some adjustments to make. Big time.
Only thing i dont agree with is defense is more 60/40. 60% effort and 40% iq and skill.

As a defender growing up in 2 sports defense is about 85% effort.. 10% instincts (this is what separates the great defenders).. 5% strength

At the deadline or the off-season we need to get a defensive SF and a rebounder at the C. Myles needs to be gone. Benn needs to be the starting SG. As much as i hate Rick I dont believe there is a better coach out there right now. So Rick must get a better coaching staff. I hate to get rid of some of the guys need to be traded to get these pieces and likely will need to have 2 of these 3 in there Nemby, Nesmith, and Jarace. I think Jarace does need to be traded even i think he'll be pretty darn good but just not soon enough. I would definitely like to keep nemby have him coming off the bench as a 6th man but he'll like leave after his contract because he should be a starter

the offense not the unstoppable beast it was a year ago which makes the bad defense look worse. the Pacers don't have any money now. going from terrible to unwatchable. depth thought to be a strong suit for the team and now have g league players getting rotation roles for multiple weeks. spending all their money now you are not flexible in your ability to make some moves. terrible. seems they have quit on the coaching staff

I like Rick C, I really do... since he was a teammate of Larry in Boston. But Rick has to go. In my opinion, even with the injuries, he's not playing the best combo of players on O and is not maximizing this team's ability to get stops on D. It seems like every single post-game conference, Rick says the same thing, with that grumpy frown on his face: "We didn't play with energy/intensity/force [choose your synonym]." WHEN do these words become actions? Injuries cannot be the only reason behind the Pacers' lack-luster play this season. I believe that another head coach could get much more out of this same group of guys. I want the Pacers to win a championship (in the NBA) during my lifetime.

What makes this even more surprising is that Rick is known for being a defense-minded coach.

This team is so poverty man and is so embarrassing to watch they couldn’t even win one nba cup game I guess siakam plays bad vs the raptors on purpose just so he can see his old team win bc ever since that siakam trade the raptors have owned the pacers and the pacers are only worth watching for one quarter bc u get lucky with them playing two good quarters this season 🙈🙈😂😂

Some people truly believe we could be Celtics in 2-3 years and finally get over the hump by adding pieces like they did. Sorry, don't believe that. At some point, you have to either blow it up or pivot. It's time to pivot. We need to get new coaching and players into the building who compliment our offensive players with defensive players. What we currently have in an offense minded coach with offense players.
