Any coach that refers to his players as “my teammates” has lost the bubble. He is the head coach. He is supposed to be running the show, not coddling these guys with the 12 steps. I understand he has to take into account relationships and personalities but at the end of the day he must be respected. You don’t coach by making friends. If it happens organically, fine. He needs to butch up and get an OC to call plays. He’s not good at it.

@@TT-cj9fi Overreaction. The team was competitive last year until injuries saw them blown out at Baltimore. That game, remember, was for first place in the conference. Save for a boneheaded loss to the Titans in which we let Will Levis beat us with throws to Hopkins who wasn't being covered by our best CB b/c of a thick headed Defensive Coordinator, we would have finished 12-5 and won the division. Back in 2019, Brian Flores’ first season as the Miami Dolphins head coach, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, who was fresh off of his rookie season, requested a trade just one week into the season. Local media crucified Flores as Minkah became an All-Pro player. Perhaps, Flores targeted him as a rules breaker and trading him sent a message to the whole team. The conversation here is management make rules then gives excuses why they cannot control players. Team hears these excuses and seeing no consequences, repeat bad behaviors. Everytime this coach and GM do this the more power they give to players. Management lacks leadership. It is the primary reason they are a losing club.

The good news is Chubb, Chop and Phillips will be back. I'd focus on resigning Campbell, Dodson on the D. Time for a complete offensive changeover and getting some angry, bulls on the O Line. Establish a run first offense allowing for play action deep throws.

Strongly disagree with Omar's claim about the dire consequences if Tyreek is traded. His production this year was average. That's easily replaceable. If he's not putting in the work, showing up late to meetings, putting himself in front of the team, he's a locker room cancer. Wrs are a dime a dozen nowadays. They should never have committed additional guarantees to him last off-season at his age, with that wear and tear, that attitude. That was very poor resource management, and now we're all gonna pay for it. Get rid of him, asap, before the situation gets worse. Which it will.

I was expecting a 9-8 finish with a wildcard playoff appearance.
The many media leaks are revealing a very ugly picture of teams internal captains leadership.
Team needs new captains ( that are 100% healthy & role models for other players ) and a zero tolerance policy.
Players must be ontime for all scheduled meetings. Players must show up 15 minutes early or get cut.
All players must show up for OTA and voluntary workouts.
Players that are not disciplined must be removed from the team immediately.
It is now clear that the main reason for a 2-6 start was a total lack of discipline. Thus time for zero tolerance for acting undisciplined in 2025 and beyond!

Look it’s this simple, if wanta play with the big boys you have to draft smash mouth players and sprinkle in a few cuties in the mix. Until you get hard you willl never beat KC, Buffalo, Pitt or Baltimore you’re just not. Bring in Richie Incongnito II actually bring in 5 of them.

Nothing is changing. Subpar coaching staff.
Chances McDaniel hires an offensive coordinator to call the plays
Every year we experience this nonsense. Fans deserve better.

Omar. You're always talking out of both sides of your mouth. Mocking the front office for putting together the oldest team in the league. While at the same time berating the franchise for letting X Howard go, for potentially trading Reek, for not giving Mostert more carries, etc. Gimme a break, dude. These guys are cooked. All of them are on the downside of their careers while still demanding top flight salary. Let them all go, and don't bat an eye. I'll go one further. Unless Ramsey's willing to move to safety, I'd get rid of him, too. This team needs young legs, new energy, and hungry spirits. If it costs Grier and McDaniel their jobs... good riddance cuz they've both been awful anyway. I already know next season will be another wasted one anyway, with those incompetents running the program.

He have. He was wrong we suck!

Today was a 3-course meal of EXCUSES. Chris Grier has plagued this franchise with poor decision after poor decision with a whole lot of non-action. Sure, occasionally he’s gotten a whale (Tyreek, Chubb, Armstead) but everything in between is full blown malpractice. OL never properly addressed, most important unit in football, AVG, Wilkins walking. Extending Tua instead of putting him on 5th year option, which everyone implored him to do. Just bad. Make it stop. Need new GM, new HC, new QB. This decade is a WASH.

You're a liar, Grier you thought you had enough with Skyler Thompson you bet on him and you lost just call it what it is. Both these guys should've been fired. Draft a young quarterback next year and let him sit behind to Allah what they did in Green Bay.

He represents and is part of the real problems. Playing in maimi is a vacation for players Mike has no authority and hence we had sloppy unprepared games every week this year. With or without Tyreek this team gonna stink cuz these two twits McD and Grier are clueless. Look at the product on the field and their lame excuses today.

Tua is a Native Polynesian. That said, the people of Hawaii are tough, resilient, and fear nothing. These are Volcanoe born Natives, blessed with a fire so unique that it either miystifies the dillusional or astonishes the wise. Tua, whike he carries the fire most of us watching on television see, will develop and do better protecting himself. Adter all, He is a competitor at his core

They need to sign Jameis Winston so we can eat Ws on Tua’s guaranteed stretch on injured reserve. Plus the Dolphins suck in the cold whereas Jameis is blessed by the lord to play “in true football weather”. The horse is preparing for battle.
