Good take... I totally agree that we should not give up on Haliburton... Even though nothing has been reported, there are some obvious health issues involved... It's just mind-blowing how he can go from being a hotdoggin' assassin one game to looking like a guy playing with a loaded diaper the next 🤔
dude, i just want to appreciate your knowledge of the game and your understanding, to a certain extent, of the mentality of what professional players go through. there is absolutely no reason to give up on tyrese. I think fans forget that these past 2 years, he has quite simply given us every successful thing that has happened to us pacers fans. Yeah it’s obviously shit rn, but then again, there is no reason to count him and the rest of the team out.
Good take. I know it's still early, but this season seems scuffed already. If Tyrese is hurt, he needs to focus on healing and conditioning. If this team is going to fulfill the loftiest of our expectations, it will require a healthy Haliburton that stays healthy. What I know for sure is that trading for old players isn't a real option. We have a young team and trading youth for old players, past their prime, is how you end up like the 6ers or Clippers.
I'm not giving up on Tyrese, but I do wish he'd sit once Nembhard returns for a couple weeks if he's still in a funk. A breather isn't always a death sentence for athletes. As far as expectations for the team, mine weren't all that great before the season because not sure how Mathurin would look and because we just ran it back without addressing rebounding and defense. I predicted a .500 team, I'd be thankful with that
If we benc him and he can't come back from that he was never the guy to begin with he needs to wake the fuck up I think benching him for TJ would open his eyes to how bad he's playing and that would make or break him. And like I said if it breaks him then he was never the guy to begin with
@groundbeef174 True but nobody wants myles as a 7ft guy that can't rebound. Shooting is nice but when he cant hit his shots, what else can he do? Not much
Teams are now playing fast after seeing the success Pacers had. Pacers are hunted this season, so everyone has to be be prepared forthe gritty hustle game.. Teams have alot of tape on Haliburton so they have figured out how to neutralie him, he just has to develop some counter moves and keep his confidence level. He didn't have an off-season to add the counter moves to his game but perhaps can do so during the season. Patience is required when teams are chip planning.. In the mean time equal opportunity offense needs to be flexible when down, and feed the hot hand on offense.. Pacers are not using Siakam properly, use his range of skills, and also incude Mathurin, run plays for both players.. Other players are not PG, they can't read and manage a floor like a PG Tyrese. I will still trust in Hali, patience and grace..He is human, he knows what's up... Shout out to #Pascal #Siakam #43VER🇨🇦 #YesCers
He took us to the ECF last year, if anyone is actually wanting to trade him I’m going to assume the only basketball they’ve ever played is on 2k. I agree with sticking behind him fully but he sort of needs the Anthony Richardson treatment imo. The fans stood behind him when it happened (boomer fans didn’t lol). But AR bounced back.
I also am pretty disappointed in Rick for playing an injured Tyrese at the end of last season just so Ty would reach his full contract payout. Imagine if he learned how to manage that last season… priceless
Can we stop making Jarace iso out of the corners!? I’ll give him a brake for last game because he’s sick and everyone else sucked too (except QJ) but Jarace, at most, should be attacking close outs, make plays out of short role situations… HOW COME NOBODY EVER USES HIS SCREENS BTW?, and shooting hella 3s off kick outs!
I agree with you 95% of the time but not this time. The mgnt hailed him as the saviour and he got the big head instead of focusing on his game. Plus with the 24 all star game in Indy the league needed and Indy player front. Mathurin to me should be the front
@@fastbreakreportso neither guy is worth the contract clearly then... expectations are making it to the 2nd round this year. We aren't even looking like a playoff team. We are losing to teams clearly worse than us. No excuses. They need to do better.
Its going to take some time for haliburton to adjust to the fame and money he just got the keys to the car it's going to take a couple miles driving before hes a race car driver he is a young man who is now super wealthy there are a lot of women right now distracting him he will figure out how to be a team leader, upper echelon talent, and his personal life out and when he does he will be back to the player we wanted him to be unless he gets with a kardashian or jenner then we lost him forever look at ben simmons he got the money got the fame and then got involved with them and now hes a bum that no one likes

It's November bud, chill out
I don't want Haliburton traded; I want him ✂️!

Maybe soon it maybe time to revisit the trade. Who actually got the better of the trade, the Kings or the Pacers?
We should've traded myles instead of Sabonis
@groundbeef174 True but nobody wants myles as a 7ft guy that can't rebound. Shooting is nice but when he cant hit his shots, what else can he do? Not much
Im not ready to gove up on him. But im frustrated with the team as a whole. And how they are handling his back.
Carlisle//Hali sucks. Pacers history says they'll never go all in, 2nd Apron. Go Bucks//Iron man Domas Sabonis 😆😂
Hali only wants to compete vs the Knicks😂😂
I warned everyone Tyrese scarified his health last year to get more money, and now its messed him up in the long term
and once more, WE ARE INJURED RIGHT NOW!!!!! we do not have our squad, so don’t expect the squad we know and love

He took you to the ECF? Or the Knicks were injured and cooked? If he had taken Pacers to the ECF wouldn't he at least win a game?
I also am pretty disappointed in Rick for playing an injured Tyrese at the end of last season just so Ty would reach his full contract payout. Imagine if he learned how to manage that last season… priceless
Keep QJ, your wing is in the G league t j warren
The only good thing is most of the East teams starting like shit but TY gotta figure it out
Expectations ? Yeah their already out the window I just want them to win 2 in a row
Did he actually play in the Olympics?
A couple games in the beginning. He actually had a injury. Had a MRI during the olympics
@BillyOsborne-dy9ei how many minutes in total did he log?

We got 2 supermax guys. Not the time to be reseting expectations.
Well we're 6-9 so and we're almost a quarter of the way through the season.....

The poor people who picked haliburton as a top 6 pick in fantasy are sad asl rn
Man if he hurt he needs to sit an rest cuz he hurting the team
Would some futures for Rj Barrett make sense?
Not sure, he's looked better for Toronto but I worry that Toronto won't give him up just for picks.
