The FDA wants ESIs banned but too many drs make too much money to stop doing them. They do serious harm to LOT of people! No dr who does them will EVER tell you how bad the risks are. They have too much to lose!

Hello...I had two radiofrequency treatments for both legs.. I had so much aching & throbbing pain of both legs & feet I was barely functioning when I went to the clinic Once Dr V. Performed two treatments of radiofrequency of one leg at the time 10 days in between both treatments. The radiofrequency RFA treatment allowed me to be completely pain free for 9 months which is more quality time than I expected. Today, 10 months later, I have additional treatment performed this time I asked Dr V. Performed the RFA at the L4-L5 HERNIATED DISC LEVEL. This is the area that is most problematic for me. I cannot lift, push, pull, shovell, vacuum, broom anything that requires weight and slight forward angled bending. It will immediately cause my disc to bulge! They scheduled an "EPIDURAL" for the L4-L5 disc area, however, because I had such great success from the RFA treatment of both legs 10 months ago, once at the clinic I will ask Dr V. To perform the RFA instead of an EPIDURAL I will let you know what happens in a couple days. Tks

Can sciatica and pirformis syndrome cause groin pain? If so, generally what kind of treatments are indicated? Have tried OT abd Aquatic PT which has helped some but pain in groin still exists with achy soreness and stiffness in groin, down back of my legs to the knee.

How safe are esi's for lower lumbar injections for moderate swelling L5? Do you do esi's for groin pain due to swelling in bursa in hip and moderate swelling in L5? Are steroids approved by FDA for esi's? Heard they are not as its off label use?

I have this been suffering over 20 years. Pain pills, injections, pain management Nothing works for me. The pain doesn’t go away EVER. You’re just stuck feeling pain all day everyday. I’ve cried plenty of times.

I hope my docs give me more info .... just got my x ray of my l spine and they say they found this at my L1 and L6 vertebral..... but dident mention any fusion.... I've had mris for years becuae of my multiple sclerosis (very mild) and it's been missed i guess ..... how much more complicated can this issue be at the L1 or on the L6 vertebral...... can someone be mistaking the extra vertebrae for something else .... can degenerative disc disease and weakness in my trunk mucles do to ms be adding to the pain I feel in my pelvis lower back and upper lower back ....

I have a 9 yr child born with pars. Found by accident with xray. Pain is usually with playing sports or being a kid. But usually will resolve some. My question is if you do surgery now will she be looking at multiple surgeries due to her body still growing? They are willing to do surgery now. I had 2 C-Sections in 16 months.. the last one was in 2018.. And since then, whenever i feel like my body is not well, that epidural spot hurts.. the pain spreads from that spot to the upper and lower back.. May 01, 2016 Interview with Dr. Burton Berkson of the Integrative Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA. About 18 years ago, a man walked into my office with a walker. The MD Anderson Cancer Hospital (in Texas) said he only had a few weeks to live and he wanted to know if I’d give him pain medication and I said, “Sure I would.” He asked me if I’d heard of Dr. Zagon at Penn State or Dr. Bihari in New York, and I said no. He said he heard they had a drug that might reverse cancer. So I asked why he didn’t go and see these people. He said, “Well, Dr. Bihari is just in a little office- if he was any good, wouldn’t he be in a university?” I told him that if he could reverse cancer, he’d put these big institutions out of business. They treat cancer, but they don’t cure many cancers. I told him that, many years ago, when I was associated with a university in the mid-west I discovered an inexpensive way (with intravenous alpha lipoic acid) to regenerate livers of people who were on the liver transplant list but couldn’t get them due to insufficient numbers of available organs. They wanted to strangle me. They were interested in liver transplantation, not in the inexpensive reversal of liver disease. After he listened to my story, he went to go see Dr. Bihari, and didn’t come back, so I thought he died. But three years later, he walks in my office, and without his walker. I take LDN for an auto immune issue and my rheumatologist won't prescribe it to anyone. It's not used more widely because the pharmaceutical industry will lose money. Simple.$$$ it's criminal.

I agree with @emilym.2830 I have been very active my entire life and about 3 years ago the pain started. I have a hemitransitional vertabrea on the L5-S1 and I have seen numerous doctors, chiropractors, PT, several back injections and on medication and the pain does not go away. It messes with your entire life, physically, mentally and emotionally and the doctors dont seem to understand how painful it really is. I just started an anti-inflammatory diet since there is a lot of inflammation in my back, i think mostly for compesation on one side due to the pain.

It works once it hits. 100% for me for postoperative pain (injectable solution, 1mg rocket). I can fully understand why it's use would be appropriate in chronic pain patient's as a person with two chronic pain conditions. It will absolutely work.
