I've owned one for ten years. It's got an RR Ignition kit on it for ten years also. It was my daily-use car until 2019 when work gave me a van - and was in great condition until it sat through 'The Inconveniences.' Worst thing that happened was not moving for 6-8 weeks. The rot got into it It never failed to start and run. Even with a sparkplug whirling around inside the engine. Sitting still ruins it. Brake locks. Metal rusts. Bushings split. The rot's into the sills - despite the best efforts of the hammerite on the bodywork. It's patched like Flak-Bait now. The shocks burst on track so it has coillovers. The front brakes locked on - but they were swapped for rebuilt calipers. The exhuast exploded on a backfire - and was replaced by a HKS single-exit exhaust. It's basically in Preservation at the moment - the engine's being rebuilt with some light porting work but nothing fancy - just tidying it. Was running fine when it went under the knife, but ten more years of car. Report from when it was cracked open was - it was in great condition inside. Just premix and regular oil changes - and batter the bejaysus out of it. It's hard to find a car that'll replace it.

Can you provide part numbers for the LCA? Are the series 1 LCA the same as series 2?

I've yet to see a Velocity Red that's had paint that matches the original body. My 3 MPS had the bumpers done via trade at some point and it bugs the heck outta me. I did read somewhere that Mazda slowly altered the paint over the years, so there was more gold fleck in the early years and the red was stronger as it went on, how true that is I don't know. Could also be the original red had faded due to the sun exposure, and that's a reason the fresh coats don't match maybe? Either way, being a tri-stage paint it'd take a good eye and some spray out cards to get a good match I think unfortunately. It's such a lovely red though. Certain lights it just flashes sunburst and at night just plain claret red. Loved watching the vid, so therapeutic. Got a week off and plan to give mine a good bit of TLC and a polish, so got me in the mood! 😃

Disagree : quantum mechanics is QUANTUM not Continuum. At a macroscopic scale things becomes continuous, but when taking example of light: bad example: sunlight is continuous because black body/ Planck’s law, but a laser is « one » color. There are light source not continuous.
