MAZDA RX-7 SHOOTING FLAMES ON DYNO

The legendary RX7 FD. In our opinion, perhaps the best drivers car ever built ... if you have what it takes to make one work.
The main issue people struggle with the FD is that if any single component of the system fails, the whole thing goes down. Throw in 30 years of ageing and multiple generations 'messing' with them and they have become re-nound for their unreliability.
Ironically, we have several customers with uncannily reliable RX7's - the trick to making them work is simple, you take a scorched earth approach to fixing them, check everything, replace anything even remotely suspicious and don't stop until it is absolutely fixed. This process can be a nightmare, as you repair one component of the system you will inevitably uncover another - and you might find you have a new car when you are finished!
This particular car made 4 trips onto the dyno, a full new turbo system, rats nest, brake servo check valve, solenoids, Power FC and the list goes on. Finally working properly, for the first time nearly 2 decades, we are excited to give it back to the customer so he can finally start to enjoy it.
