I am a student of your mentorship program and the hurdle I hit is something you mentioned in other videos, burnout. I didn't pace myself, I found out I have brain rot from short video format, I have to stop eating refined carbs and sugars, I haven't followed Dr. Jordan Peterson's advice to clean up my room, I'm in my mid forties, but now that I know what my problem is, I can start picking up the battles one by one until I get out of burn out.

My mom was a software engineer for 40 years since the late 70s and I’ve been in the industry for 15 years now. We both concluded that programming is all about aptitude. 100%. Only a certain type of people have the mentality to do it. I’ve been using gen AI at work for 2 years now and I’ve been teaching and helping non-coders to create apps using gen AI and all the no-code tools, and one thing I’ve noticed is that even with AI and tools, you still need that same coder aptitude to actually build something.

If you can control your lizard brain enough to code in Ruby for 10 hours a day there is a Lamborghini in your future. /s Make sure you have some FU money saved up first.

Eat healthy indeed. Doesn't have to be keto. My concentration and health is best with a high carb diet (all whole foods of course, no processed junk).

My late younger sister and I had tempers while we growing up. She and I would fight and argue with people at the drop of a hat. Finally, she and I had a conversation as to why using our hands was always a go-to solution. I was in my early 30s then, and she was in her late 20s. We decided to stop getting fired up all the time. Uncle Stef, you're right about combat sports. I took up boxing when I was in my late 30s, and that further helped me control my temper. It's not that I don't ever get mad, but now that I'm in my 60s, I think a lot before immediately reacting.

I think the main reason for banning Tik Tok was to easier control news cycles. Tik Tok as a China asset would be more resilient to be pressure by the gov. Having strict control over social media didn’t really work otherwise Trump wouldn’t win the election. Banning it would only antagonise China and that could create unnecessary trouble. I can be wrong.

The coffee shop point is super crucial . It has to be on a corner and between other importer points , like university and railway station . Otherwise a local can be completely empty because people are passing and looking in their phones . Also very often some coffee shops can't sustain because they don't have sandwiches and people take it into account , especially when they have to que for a coffee
