@ I know a little bit about Earle and the surrounding area. If you ever watch the movie Clerks, it was filmed a few blocks away from Earle. I used to go down there for fishing with my father. We’d get moved around by the military boats occasionally when something was coming. I forget if I ever said it but: Thank you for your service. My grandfather and many uncles were all in the service in multiple branches. I barely remember them telling stories about what they saw and did. It sure was a different time.

Yeah, years of building and flying R/C airplanes of all types and scales taught me that there is a glue for every purpose. I used CA since the 80's and it is excellent for quick glue ups and general building but the issues can be many and it is unforgiving. We used a lot of CA/Baking soda bonds to add strength and maybe that could be used here but too many downsides for me to bother with. If I was going to use CA for axles it would be the black rubberized CA version they used to sell for gluing rubber tires to plastic wheels for R/C Cars... Bob Smith or Great Planes used to sell it... I haven't done anything with cars in ages... not sure if it is still available... but I'm gonna look online right now! 😂😂😂

I just played back Bay City starting at 5:45 with 2 sound tracks. Scorpions, Rock you like a Hurricane and then Kenny Loggins, Danger zone. The second was more Ironic as it ended showing the current Top 3 in the danger Zone where Sweet Tangerine is headed. No video of it. Just enjpying that little victory while I can. I'm sure folks don't like people gloating. As the Reach out and take it video says, You could be faking and breaking and taking it all. But then you know you're gonna fall.

Yes, to me, taking notes is important to be able to analyse againts the performance. Including what lube used etc and times if you have a test strip. Cheers good luck.

Always love hearing from you. I was a bit over weight. I did drill out some lead in select places for the weight and balance. 1.2 grams. Not giving all my secrets away. I snuck 1 gram of tungsten in the very front as it was too light. The other car had polished axles also. Fit together perfect. Neither car had lube or sanded wheels. I ran them both down the same track as the other 4 entrants. It didn't run well. The original was still faster. Hmmm. You are showing your age man. Flo and Sean (Shawn). but I think you missed Clint. I was told, by you? I think I found my signature car. I did make videos of the lead pour for the Supra. I wonder how 75 plus grams will work at Bathurst Racing. Reach out and take it Johnny, then burn it to the ground. As Marc D said, enjoy any win you get. As Bay City Darrell said, The Top Three is going to be hard to beat. @@Chris_Hood Thanks, yes. The glued axles are stable and fast. Straight down the line. The all natural was slow. My picks for Bathurst are going to be the E6000 for a bit of flex. I taped off the wheels on one tonight and applied E6000. Lets see if I mees this 1st one up.

Thanks man. Yes. However I did not record what I did with the tires and axles. I have 2 more lead weights already poured. I have 5 more Supras. Thinking about trying to beat R-Lo and send in another car but that will not race until next year (maybe). All the videos I made doing the weight calculations paid off. I put just the right amount of clay to make a (almost) perfect lead mold. I am very happy with the results at Bay City. Dang! I whooped Endcount in the race off.
