If you're concerned, maybe just grind the sharp bits down to a curve?

BLUF: The Gov'ner isn't at a huge disadvantage as it is
If you were racing The Gov'ner on the old Bathurst track, I would really see your point. I'll explain. Before, the raised sides were made of flexible tubing, something akin to garden hose. Currently, that has been replaced with plastic electrical conduit so I honestly believe that the corners of the car even if they make sharp contact, won't dig in exactly. Nobody wants to have their car hit at a weird angle on those barriers, it will affect poorly regardless I think.
😂 My cigar comment from before really was just a movie quote, from the first _Hellboy._ Nothing intended past that, Bill
Your faded black dragon decals--just throwing it out there, in Dungeons & Dragons lore, *Shadow Dragons* were pretty badass, the Elves really feared those

I looked that up and did not find a quote. Dang. Ahhh, "Shadow Dragons" I like it. Thanks.
