Having got into the megami tensei series with nocturne and IV was the best thing ever, their soundtracks are so beautiful and diverse even though some are remixes. I gotta say that when I first hit Tokyo and listened to its theme for the first time, I don’t know how to express the rush of feelings it came with only the first notes of it, the hopeful yet depressing melody merged together with the discovery of a total different world than Mikado, the use of synth and keys rather than wind and string instrument. It really conveys a lot and i gotta say that this rendition hit me the same way it did on my first playthrough, and I got to say thank you. You made me want to learn piano again and play like you do.

It's amazing to me that someone could listen to the original MIDI track from the game and make something that sounds this great and beautiful out of it by simply using orchestra sounds. The original MIDI sounded pretty good, but this definitely brings it to life. I tell myself that if it weren't for the storage limitations of the Nintendo 64 cartridges, this is what the Staff Credits track would/should have sounded like originally. I can remember playing the hell out of this this game as a kid and I loved it. It was one of the first games that I can remember beating, which was a huge deal to me at the time. This track caused the onion cutting ninjas to lurk around my place for a bit.
